Not only is this beautifully made, it's warm without being hot. The zipper allows you to dump heat during high intensity activities. The colors on this one are very nice

I bout this 1/4 zip for a base layer for winter in Alaska and I am glad I did. A large fit well (6 ft and 200lbs) and it is so comfortable that I wear it around the house all the time. I like how the 1/4 zip looks nice enough to wear without another top over it. Great choice!

Warm, comfortable and light. Also, it stays clean in terms of smell, not typical with unaturel fibre.

Love the 1/4 zipper, when it's gets a little warm, just bring down the zipper and let some air in. Used it out in Fairbanks Ak from November to March/April and it met my expectations, kept my neck and chest nice and warm, which is vital

I've been wearing the Smartwool Thermal Milano Base Layer Quarter-Zip for the past 2 to 3 years, and I can't recommend it enough. After recently spotting them on sale, I immediately bought three more to add to my wardrobe. This piece is incredibly versatile, serving as both a base layer and a light sweater. What I love most about it is its lightweight designdespite being thin, it keeps you exceptionally warm. I wore it last winter during a trip to Boston, and paired with just a jacket, it was all I needed to stay comfortable in the cold.
