From hunting in northern Michigan to wearing as a top layer over a t-shirt at the office - these tops are great!

I have 4 of these in different colors. Wear them all fall/winter. Feel great next to the skin and....you don't have to wash them after each wear!

Excellent quality and fits great.

Not just a base layer, this Classic 1/4 zip excels as a single layer too. It has a soft feel against the skin ( no scratchy wool here) and the weave is beautiful finish you won't want to hide under other layers! The shape is close to the body and flattening without feel tight or constricting. The is a great shirt!

looks so good, it doesn't have to go under clothing

Comfortable and nice

Bought for my husband; perfect cold weather top, often worn with a vest. I wear mine all season. Always looks and feels great, love the brand and the styling. Really The Best!

I have been buying the classic thermal layer for years now. I have all of my original shirts but occasionally buy a new one as I typically wear these all fall, winter, and spring. I love this product and it is a staple in my wardrobe.

Best all around winter shirt. Cold weather wardrobe staple.

A few years ago I purchased two very similar Smartwool quarterZips for an around the world trip my wife and I were taking. I wore them constantly for all occasions, dinner, hiking, hanging out, etc. Over time the neck line wore out from rubbing on my whiskers, which was no fault of the product, other than that they remain perfect! Since then I have never been able to find a similar product from Smartwool that fit the same. I am 6'4" and 190Lbs. The arms were always too small or it was too tight or too baggy. This time they fit PERFECT again. I am so happy to have this bulletproof base layer/sweater in my lineup.

I own a few of these in different colors. They're super comfortable and the weight is perfect - not too thick or thin. One tip however is to consider sizing-up with the slim fit.

As always, comfortable, high quality, functional, a nice shirt. A perfect compliment to playing with the dogs!

I bought this for my husband because he's always cold. He's 82. When he wears it he's very warm and loves it. Also he isn't turning the heat up and making me sweat!

I wear this as my base layer under a long sleeve T-shirt for graveyard work in so Cal PERFECT temperature for me. It's light on bulk and comfortable

fits good for a broad shoulder guy and looks good with and without a inner garment

I've been wearing the 1/4 zip on many of my runs this early season and it's been fantastic! I'll put it on around the 30-34 degree mark and after I'm done running 10 miles I feel like I'm dry; and it keeps me a comfortable temp throughout my whole run!

Base layer for cold weather activity

I use my Thermal Marino base layer as my base layer on all of my ski days. They are warm and comfortable and at 50 to 75 ski days per season they have proven durable. These shirts are also my go to for just lounging around the house on my off days. Great Shirts!

this is the fourth Classic Thermal Merino Base Layer I've bought over the years, with the first three in light blue , orange and black probably 15 years old and still working great as a base layer for dawn bicycling . So versatile for dry Tucson cycling - warm enough for dawn exercise, yet still comfy with sleeves pushed up when desert sun starts to bake,hours later. Bought this navy blue one on sale and rode with it this dawn -glad to have a fourth of your fine product!

Great fit. Warm when it needs to be yet breaths and regulates. A significant upgrade from my Patagonia capilene. LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

The ideal three season shirt. Pull it over your tshirt when it's cool. Unzip or take it off when it warms up. It's merino, so it doesn't need do be washed very often, and machine washable when needed.
