Hands down, THE warmest, most comfortable base layer I have ever worn. I've been wearing the thermal base layer for many years - in the past it has been my go-to first layer on the ski slope, and these days it keeps me cozy warm on cold, early morning hikes with the pup. It's absolutely worth the price tag and I highly recommend for outdoor activities in cold temps.

Use it every day under my uniform for work. Looks and feels great.

So warm as an underlayer. Was out in the snow with this and a warm sweater and didn't need my jacket. Lightweight and warm too

I feel the cold so I use this item and others Smartwool products for my daily activities in order to stay comfortable and warm

I layer these thermal crews with my other merino products to keep warm. Unfortunately, I already have this color and so I will be returning the item, but not because of quality, just my mistake when ordering.

This design is one of my favorites. Since I bought, my first, I now have five different colors. It is comfortable, easy to care for, and for me, was a game changer. I had trouble before wearing anything if it was wool - it was scratchy and uncomfortable. This is definitely not that way, and explains why I have five in my closet now!

I LOVE this layer. It is warm, but feels light and soft. It fits so nicely that it looks good without anything over it. I wear it for cold weather pickleball, hiking and even under a blazer out for dinner.

This is my favorite cold weather shirt I've ever owned. Feels so luxurious and is super comfortable. There is nothing about it that I don't like!

My go-to layer for cold days! Wear them to work and for outdoor runs during the winter.

Beautiful warm sunny yellow gold color! Love the unique color choice. For reference I'm 5"1 and 98#. Size small fits nice -not too tight or too loose. Length is a little long for me , but it's still a keeper. Washes well, no need to iron and yes they are warm.

Love these L/S tops

Winter and skiing are on my mind with this new color as my base layer.My top and bottoms match and fit well.

These tops are very warm and great for winter sports or anytime you need a lightweight warm layer. The wool does make my skin a bit itchy sadly. They also will not stink like other synthetic fabrics which is a huge plus!

Wear it skiing all the time - love it!

Great quality. I will only buy Thermal layer Merino wool. Unlike Cashmere this layer does not pill.

This is the perfect next-to-the-skin layer on those really, really cold days.
