I bought this as a gift for my daughter who lives in an historic home that is often "cool" and works in a store that is "cold". She loves this Smartwool. Says it is warm and cozy.

Perfect base layer. I'm between a Medium and a Large and got the Large because I don't like my first layer to be skin-tight. It is fitted without being super snug. Perfect.

I got the black one with the white collar trim. It looks very classy by itself and with the visual fabric texture. However I can't say this is soft, whether on the inside or outside; it's definitely rough to the touch and "catches" on my rough textured callouses on my fingers. It doesn't stretch out too much and can be reworn after a day. I'm 5'3", 120 pounds, 32C and 26 size pant and the small fit perfect without being too fitted or loose.

I wish I had one of these for every day of the week. Keeps me warm, comfortable, and looks good. What more could I want?! #sweepstakes

Fabric is soft and smooth, and the fit it is great. This is my third one in different colors, and I will likely buy others. I have a similar top in another brand, and it has not held up any where nearly as well, so Smartwool is my go to now. The crew top very well for layering and on its own. The styling means it can stay casual as likely intended, but I've also worn under cardigans at work. The only drawback here is the Smartwool logos on the hem and sleeve - these undermine a professional look if visible. The logos are the only thing I dislike about the top!

Love the fit and the quality. Love the golden color and the little tag on sleeve. Most of all I love how the 250 merino wool warms my core on chilly Northern Nevada days.

I desperately needed a warm under layer and had no idea if this would actually be warm, comfortable, or good looking - i was absolutely thrilled on all 3 fronts from the minute i put it on. Have worn it constantly since! Love the color, softness, length and warmth.

Bought this for hiking in cooler weather. Perfect weight for over a thinner t-shirt or under a fleece. I sweat a lot so the wicking properties of merino wool is a must for me. Works well when layered with other merino items. Love it.

My girlfriend has zero complaints about this product. They are soft and extremely warm all while staying extremely light weight. She's looking forward to buy the 150 model when it's cooler out.

Love Smartwool 250 base layer crews. Wear them fall, winter and spring. Great for all casual outings. Comfortable, easy to care for, lasts long time. Hold their color and shape.

I wear it as a top layer with a silk undershirt beneath. Both warm abs attractive.
