I wear this under other sweaters and under the the Shadow Pine Hoodie. I have three other colors and love each of them.

Slim fit, but not body hugging. I wear this as a winter-weight t-shirt.

I bought this top for cold weather outdoor activities. So far I have used it for skiing in 10-30 degree weather. I stayed plenty warm, but never sweaty. The material is very soft and comfortable. It worked well under another long sleeve never bunching up.

I love this sweater! It is flattering and cute to wear hiking, cross country skiing and also around the house, to the bar and even to work! The fabric breathes beautifully while simultaneously keeping me warm while working out in colder weather. I will definitely buy again. #sweepstakes

I typically find wool shots to be itchy and have avoided wool sweaters for years. NO LONGER! This top is incredible. It is flattering to wear both in the trail while hiking and backpacking and to the office, around the house and to the bar! The purple color is gorgeous! I find this shirt to be the perfect weight for outdoor cross country skiing or highly aerobic activity in the cold outdoors. It is warm and simultaneously breathes well. It doesn't smell after a hard workout and seamlessly transitions from the trails to other activities. It's pricey, but well worth it! I will definitely be buying in other colors!

I wear my smartwool tops everyday. I have them in 5 different colors. They fit beautifully and feel soft and lovely.

This top, and the companion bottom, got me through a very cold week in Minnesota! Thin enough to go under clothes, warm enough to make a real difference.

It's fun to have a matching color set (top & bottom) that won't get mixed up in the laundry with all the black ones the boys have. I love it! Soft, barely itchy - only the first few minutes.

Just needed a new one. I should have ordered the black at the same time. Oh well!

I have worn this top almost non-stop since I got it. The fit of the medium is perfect for daily wear for me (160 lbs, 36B/C, 5'9"). It's slim fitting without being skintight so I've added it to my rotation as regular wear in addition to a base layer. I've used it for a base layer for working winter events outdoors and it's kept me warm and dry even while moving around a lot. Alone it looks great w/jeans or under a sweater. It also doesn't seem to need washing as frequently as you would think given how many times I've worn it, so it's saving water usage there already! I've had it for just a couple of months and can't speak to the longterm durability but fingers crossed this is a great start!

This is the second color I purchased in this top, I love it and wear it so much. The fabric and construction is awesome, as Smartwool is noted for, but the fit is perfect and wears as easily under a shirt or sweater as flannels or ski gear. The completely finished hem lies beautifully and is a great length to tuck in or wear out.

These are perfect under clothes when it's cold and I'm going outside, or as lounge wear.

I live in NH and do a lot of hiking in the White Mountains. The Smartwool 250 base layer is par of my essential hiking gear for fall and winter. In the fall I often wear it by itself. In the winter I wear it as a base layer with a fleece and/or puffer jacket over it. The 250 base is a nice weight - doesn't feel too thin or too bulky. Even though it is wool it feels soft against your skin and is not at all scratchy. It washes great and they last a long time. I love them so much I now own 3 as I keep finding more colors I like!

This is a solid piece of long underwear. It is durable, soft and warm. You can tell the quality is great. Layer it with a thicker piece for an outfit that will keep you warm in the coldest weather.
