I loved this shoe from the moment I put it on. But u fortunately it did not hold up. The soles started to fall apart from the shoe and I only had them for about a month and half. Im going to take them to a cobbler to see if they can fix it. But if you do a lot of walking, lifting , pushing as part of your job I would try and find something more durable

Purchased these Dec 22 in tan oiled full grain as a gift. Very nice classic look with the updated white sole. Began wearing them mid January 23. Out of the box, theyre a little difficult to get into but no big deal assuming a little break in. However, Im noticing theyre already beginning to separate at the sole after 3 weeks of casual office wear. I would post pictures but site doesnt have that feature. Secondly, the sole material annoyingly squeaks on most tile floor surfaces. Finally, the material seems to make my feet sweat or produce moisture more than other oxfords Ive had. This is my first pair of JMs and was excited but will not be buying again.

I don't love them, and honestly I don't find them overly comfortable, but maybe that's just me. The oiled tan gets scraped fairly easy too.

Heal shape cut very large blisters in both of my feet, first time problem with this brand as Ive purchased many J&M shoes - unwearable shoes shouldnt be for sale in my opinion.

I bought these shoes because I can no longer get the awesome black leather McGuffey plain toe shoe. These shoes fit smaller than other J&M Wide shoes and have a tighter fit at the instep. I am hoping they will stretch out. I am also hoping they will bring back the McGuffey - best wide casual shoe J&M ever made.

These shoes fit great can go with all attire. The device was fast. I got my husband 4 colors gray blue & brown. Mailing service was fast. They arrived well packaged in a timely manner. Def Recommend these shoes.

I love the look of this shoe. Seems to be well made, and I am very pleased to be able to buy it in a wide size. I had to return the medium size, which I did at a retail location. They were very understanding of my reason to return it, and very helpful in getting the correct size ordered for me after test fitting a similar shoe to help me decide on the correct size. Then, the replacement pair of shoes arrived very quickly within a day or two.

The shoe was to narrow. I probably need a size 13 - 2E.

Im on my feet all day standing and walking and so far these are the most comfortable shoes Ive ever worn! I wear a suit for work and and this shoe looks great and Ive gotten compliments from day one!! Looking forward to my next purchase!!

My husband said he didnt want to take them off they felt so good on his feet from the first time he put them on.

I love the look. I thought it would be a little easier to break in.

I bought two pair, one black, one tan. I love the tan, but the black is not nearly as comfortable. Both the same size and type, but the black really stiff and is difficult to wear for the day.

Like the comfort and feel. Have received complements from people.

When these shoes were new in June, they gave me blisters on the backs of my feet. My opinion is there is not enough padding in the heel. Now that the shoes are broken in (along with my feet...), they are rubbing under my ankles under my ankles. Perhaps the soles are worn or compressed now, so that my feet sit lower in the shoe. I have been pleased with my other shoes from J&M, but not these. I expected better comfort for the price.

Nice, well constructed, classic looking shoes. They fit perfectly and are super comfortable. I wasnt sure if the color would be too light when I bought them, but they look great when Im wearing khakis or jeans. Would definitely recommend.
