Looks good, has a comfortable sole, but it runs small. I felt like it was pressing down on my big toe and so I probably need a size up. I returned it.

The shoes dont fit as comfortably as my others. The heel rubs and so an accommodation must be made to wear them. I think (hope) this will resolve itself with time. Styling is very nice and coordinates well.

I am so glad I found Johnston & Murphy a couple of years ago. I have had a total ankle replacement and could not find a comfortable, affordable shoe that fit like before my ankle replacement. Now, my closet is full of J&M shoes. I love the quality and look of the rich grain leather, the comfort and fit which are true to size. I have one pair of non-leather that are as durable as any leather shoes I have purchased. On top of that I just returned a pair of well worn shoes that I found a defect in. One call and the shoes were retuned and promptly replaced. I am very pleased with All of my J&M shoes.

Very narrow shoes. Sent back and didnt try to figure out the right size since they were so narrow.

I really liked the look of these shoes. But, only a few hours into wearing them the very first time, I could feel blisters forming on the back of my heel (achilles area). I was surprised since I've always had pretty good luck with J&M shoes. But, these were just very uncomfortable.

I thought these would be more gray but are darker and have a hint of brown hue making a little off-gray. I still like the color and is not meant as a complaint. Ive only worn them a few times but the back inside part rubs against my ankle a little but Im hoping that will work itself out after breaking them in a little

Purchased 10.5 size same as a previous shoe purchase different brand but they are too small. I wore them thinking they would stretch out a bit but they did not. Im stuck with a shoe that dont fit!

Really good looking shoe, goes with everything and very lightweight. Did not work for my foot shape. There is a wide variation in sizing between J&M shoes, ended up going with something more casual looking and much more comfortable. The cutouts for your ankle were high on this shoe, constantly rubbing my ankles and creating pain.

Overall, it is a great concept. True to size, good style, good fit. The shoe is lightweight and well constructed. The sole is soft and responsive when walking. Styling is classic J & M. The biggest knock on the shoe? The Top Line above the heel cap is not cushioned and extremely rigid. Since it lacks padding, be cautious during the break in period. After the first day, I got cuts on both heels, where the top line digs into your skin. I have used conditioner, but still breaking them in. I had to use bandaids to keep wearing them. I spent plenty of time in the military hiking with no issues or blister history. These top lines above the heel cap is very rigid. I dont know why they didnt add some padding. Break in with caution.

Historically I buy Johnston & Murphy shoes for the comfortable fit. I don't feel these shoes fit that brand image at all. Maybe my fault, I went with a lower price model and they just are not nearly at the comfort level I have come to expect from the Johnston & Murphy brand. I'm still recovering from blisters on the back of my heel.

Very comfortable shoes except the heel side of the throat is really stiff. Once the shoes are on theyre great. Putting them on almost feels like theyre slicing the back of my heels. Hoping they will soften up.

Very comfortable, true-to-size fit that is both stylish enough for dinner with slacks or just knocking around in jeans. Love em!!!

I like the shoe, but it's a little on the hard side.

I bought these in gray expecting a combination of business casual style and athletic shoe comfort. They look nice but the color seemed more brown-gray than I expected. Even worse, these shoes were anything but comfortable. Ive worn them twice and my they chafed the skin off both of my heels. I already threw away the Bos they came in but I plan to return them if not too late.

Very attractive shoes. They look amazing. They rub a little on the ankle but I think as they break in they will be fine. I have other J&M shoes that fit great so I know these will too. I am able to dress them up or down. They look great with dress pants and jeans.

I wish you had the Holden size 8 wide. I bought two pairs, and the 8.5 won out. Very nice looking otherwise and spiffing too. Like the tan edging on the back. Next time, white soles!

I have several other pairs of JM shoes and Size 13 normally fits perfect. In fact, they are a little larger than most 13s in other brands. This style in black however runs incredibly small. They rubbed my heel and ankles so much that I had to return them. I recommend the brand but not this style
