Love this shoe from the first moment I put it on!!! It fits my foot like a glove. Out of all the Altra shoes I've had, this model is my favorite!!! After years of running, I'm down to mostly walking now. This shoe is great for both my walking and little bit of running.

I've had 5-6 pairs of Altras previously, but couldn't find anything I liked better than your discontinued Intuition until THIS SHOE, the Solstice XT! It fits well, has a very soft cushy-feeling sole, which is great for the pounding my feet take on cement/asphalt at Camp Gladiator bootcamp. Running is also great in this shoe, although it is not recommended for long distance. It is perfect for running a few miles, and good for short bursts of sprinting. It's ideal for lateral movements as well (like side shuffles) because the bottom outside edges are not rigid, but pliable. I have good ankle mobility in this shoe as well. I will buy again!

I wear the Solstice XT's when I play pickleball on the outdoor courts. They have the support I need. I own all three colors. They are durable and breathable too. True to size. I also wear them when walking too.

I use these to lift weights and do HIT. Great shoes with minimal cushion.

Best training shoe I have! It's stylish, comfy, and performs well! Fits true to size and I didn't have any issues with the width of the shoe either. This is my first pair of Altra sneakers and I would 100% recommend them. If you're on the fence about buying these, don't be!!! You won't regret it.

I have been wearing altra for about a year now and this is my third pair. The support for lateral movement has made a huge difference for me!

I walk 40-50 miles a week at work while pushing, pulling, lifting and moving. I have purchased 5 pairs of shoes this year (2 Altra, 2 OnCloud, 1 Hoka) so I can have a constant rotation. After adjusting to them, these shoes are easily my favorite. I feel more powerful and agile, and also perform better when I wear them. They feel like extensions of my feet, instead of something simply worn. Everyone is different, but for me, the Solstice is perfection. Altra runs roomy, so I order a half size smaller than other brands.

I love my Solstice XT's. I have them in all 3 colors. I use them to play pickleball on outdoor courts, I walk in them and workout in them. They are durable and fit true to size

These are the only training shoes I've been able to wear in years without discomfort! More color options would be nice.

I absolutely love these shoes. As soon as you put them on you can tell they are different. I bought them because I needed zero drop shoes for my CrossFit workouts. I have been exercising in running shoes for years and lately my back has been "going out" once a month during a workout. Since using these shoes I have had zero back issues! I can't believe it took me so long to switch shoes. I had tried No Bulls and the Nanos but they felt like regular shoes to me. The wide toe base on these give you more stability and you feel more grounded. I would recommend these shoes to anyone! (I have not tried running in them yet but plan to).

Love them. Foot shape, 0 drop. Running feels comfortable and I can cross train in them as well.

These are great shoes for Crossfit. I completely forgot i was even wearing them. The plastic cage around the ankle is great support, and the sock like toe area allows for movement. I typically wear a 9, i always order workout/running shoes a half size up and the 9.5 is perfect! I should have bought these months ago!

I cross train at home and hate wearing shoes and usually end up wearing my running shoes when I have to wear shoes to workout. I finally got to the point where I needed actual cross trainers. These are perfect! All the great benefits of Altra with the drop and toe box but the side support you need for cross training. This is the first pair of cross trainers that I can use my shoe insert/arch supports in without my heel coming out of the back of the shoe. I'm so happy with these!

I bought the 9 from a store, took it out for a workout and it was too big. I emailed customer service and they shipped me the 8 - which was too small - and then the 8.5 - which fits just right! GREAT customer service!!! Also the size fits true to size - I'm usually an 8.5 in other brands. The wide toe box does not alter the fit for me in length. Yay for wide toe boxes!

I have 2 pairs of these- one in black and one in white. Thank you for making one that's white! Since my foot doctor has recommended this brand of shoes, my feet are happy feet. :) I own several pairs in different styles. This particular style is probably my favorite. I love the fact that there is a solid black and a solid white. I use my black ones for work and the white ones for everyday wear. They are extremely comfortable and with the sole being less chunky they give a low profile look, while still providing plenty of support. I can go all day on my feet and my feet feel great. They are light weight, breathable and give plenty of cushion. I have worn them in Disneyland for a 12hr day without any discomfort. I will most definitely be ordering this style again.

I run in Altra Lone Peaks and love them. I wanted a pair of shoes that I could use for the treadmill and my indoor strength training workouts and not have to worry about dragging in dirt from my Lone Peaks. I decided to give these a try and have been using them the last couple of months. They've been working out great for my needs! I definitely prefer my Lone Peaks for the trail or for the road, but for the treadmill and for general cross training shoes, these have not disappointed me. I originally bought the same size as my Lone Peaks (which are larger than my normal foot size), but I wound up exchanging them for a half size lower. There was nothing wrong with the sizing, I just didn't need as much extra space.

This is now my favorite shoe. I wear it for everything...running, lifting and every day. I tried my first pair, liked them so much I bought a second pair for me, and a pair for each of my kids and my sister. I love being able to feel the ground under my feet, I feel it had really helped my mechanics. Awesome shoe. I will continue to purchase repeatedly.

I do a lot of varied workouts, dance, cardio, weights, HIIT, etc so I need a shoe that can handle all of them. I also have small feet but a high arch and wide toe area. I've tried a lot of different shoes and been disappointed. It's hard to have good balance, especially for weight lifting when your shoes have a ton of foam and rubber in the way of you and the floor. It's hard to put the weight in your heels. The zero lift of the Solstice helps my balance and keeps me grounded but I still get some cushion and great arch support. No more knee or back pain. And they are snug around my true arch, but no heel slip or rubbing on ankle bone, and room in the toe box for me to wiggle. People say they are shaped funny but I'm not here for a fashion show (although I think they're super cute). I need functionality and injury prevention and I'm very satisfied with these so far.
