I have been an avid HIIT exerciser and instructor for many years and Orangetheory Fitness coach for two years, and these are THE best shoes I've ever owned for HIIT modalities. Smooth transference of form, support, comfort, durability and energy from weightlifting to plyo metrics, body weight movements, treadmill and rowing time. I really think these are the best cross trainers out there and such a conceptually thoughtful design. Thanks for spicing up the cross training/HIIT shoe, Altra! They are true to size - I'm 8-8.5 and the 8s are perfect.

Great shoe for standing on feet for long hours. Amazing arch support for my feet. It provides good grip when walking on wet concrete floor. No complaintsI would buy again.

Using for HIIT training at orange Theory and I love these shoes!!!! They aren't clunky, they are sleek with the right amount of toe box room, The soles are perfect for the sort of suction feel when moving side to side in the weight room. Not sure I would run long distances in these shoes but for the treadmill work outs, it is perfect. Works great on rower as well/

These sneakers are great. I wear them on days that I am crossing training and maybe doing a little light running. They fit well and offer great stability for weightlifting, squats and lunges, and even a little boxing . The fit is true to size and they are really great looking sneakers. Just for reference, for running I wear the WOMEN'S ESCALANTE 2.5 and loves those too.

I use the shoe for workouts at the gym, conditioning and strength. My feet can actively participate in the workout; I feel the muscles in my feet working to keep me steady when doing balance work for example. There is enough padding for comfort without loosing the sense of being grounded. My toes are very happy to spread out!

As a nurse, my shoes are an important piece of equipment for me. After trying 2 other brands, my sister recommended these shoes! They are fabulous and feels like I'm walking on air after a 10 hour shift. Plenty of toe room and my feet don't feel squeezed as the day wears on.

Oh hello toe box! This is such a good fit, even better than an early generation trail shoe that I have loved. It is incredibly comfortable and just enough cushion, but not too much. I generally like a low profile shoe, with minimal cushion so I can still feel connected to the floor/ground. This shoe is everything I have wanted. I have longish toes, and the toe box feels just right and not too short. I use these shoes for lifting weights, jumping rope, Plyometrics, and general cross training, but I really want to wear them all day.

LOVE these shoes! I use them for road running and weightlifting. I also run trails but I have lone peaks for those runs. This is my second pair of Solstice and I love all the updates made to the shoe. The durability and quality is much better than my last pair. They also made the heel a little more narrow which is great for me. They still have a roomy toe box for my forefoot to spread out. I switch to ultra's five years ago when I discovered I had a neuroma on my left foot. I have tried out a few other zero drop shoes since then but I always come back to my Altras Now they are all I run in. The wide toe box is fantastic and gives me foot the room it needs so that my neuroma is not irritated. Over the years their durability has increased to match that of the "mainstream" brands. I no longer run in anything else.

These are great and work super well for CrossFit. They have been great for heavy lifting days and for Metcons and even for running metcons. Now I need black to come back in stock so I can get a second pair because white gets very dirty pretty quick in a CrossFit gym.

Comfortable, great quality, versatile, true to size, worth the price!

This is my third pair in as many years and they are wonderful. They truly feel like slipper that you can wear out. I like how it allows my foot to spread as if barefoot.
