Love the added tread-different than the first model and holds up much better during HIIT. Love the light weight and flexible outer sole. Only criticism is the shoelaces- little too short

Bought these to hike some easy trails, although they're more suited for the gym- they still work great for the trail and are so so comfy!

I use Altra Lone Peak 4.5 for my work as a backcountry ranger. These have alleviated most of my overuse injuries and issues. I tried the Solstice XT for gym use and am SO happy with them. I wear a women's 9.5 in the Lone Peak, and a women's 9 in the Solstice.

I bought these for work & to run short distances. I am a personal trainer & am always on my feet. Although these are a lower profile & maybe not ideal for 8+ hours of standing & coaching, they are my new fav for running short distance! I love how light they are & the toe box is plenty roomie. No blisters during run either! I am a size 6.5 in most running shoes, but ive worn Altra in the past & typically wear a 6 in their running shoes. The 6 fit true to size with plenty of room. I want them in all 3 colors!

I have been wearing Altra's Lone Peak for a few years now. I have multiples for different usesgym, out and about, mudding... Love them because of the spacious toe box and the zero drop sole. My trainer wanted me in little to no drop, which is why I bought the first pair, but now my other athletic shoes are gathering dust. Bought the Solstice when my trainer decided I needed less cushion. Love at first fit. The toe box maybe is a little roomier than needed, so maybe it is slightly wider than it needs to be, but I lace the shoes to tighten the heel and they are great. I am a barefoot run/walker whenever weather and terrain permit, so I never have cared for the thick soles of athletic shoes. After buying Solstice in white for the gym, I was delighted to be able to feel more grounded than with the Lone Peak. I bought a black pair of Solstice for when terrain is too rough for bare feet. Probably keep using Lone Peak for muddy walks. Thank you for the wide toe box and the zero-drop on both styles.

I love this shoe and am purchasing my second pair after 400 miles on the first. I wear them to the gym for HIIT and weight lifting classes and I also trained and completed a marathon in them. They are lightweight, comfortable and have held up to all they've endured. I've also worn them in sub zero temps and during summer months with no complaints.

I love these shoes!! They are comfortable form the get go!! Lightweight, good fit, worth the money!! I will own more!!

These may be the most comfortable running shoes I've owned. I have a wider foot but not quite wide enough to get wide width shoes. These fit perfectly, no rubbing on my heels or anywhere else. I also love the burgundy and blue color combination. I'll probably buy a backup pair just in case they ever stop making these!

This is the first shoe I have got in a long time that really feels great. I developed Morton's Neuroma over the past two years from high impact exercise over the course of two pregnancies. After seeing a podiatrist, I was told to seek a new athletic shoe with a wide toe box. I also started using 'correct toes' spacers and wanted a shoe that could accommodate those as well. These did not disappoint! I do a mix of strength training circuits and short 3-6 mile runs and this shoe is so comfortable for me (with spacers too), foot pain gone! They are also very light, which I love! I'm tempted to purchase a second pair already. Highly recommend if you need a wide toe box and are looking for a low drop shoe!

LOVE THESE SHOES. I had tried the original HIIT model from last year, but this cross trainer far surpasses that. They are light and I hardly remember I'm wearing them while exercising! Fantastic

I strength train in these and they are perfect. Sturdy and comfortable. Once the weather gets better I will try running in them. I have other Ultras for running longer distances, but these should be great for adding a variety of cardio options without wearing out one pair of shoes too quickly.

These shoes are light-weight, soft, comfortable, and supportive for vigorous walking. Hightly recommended!

This is my second pair and love them! Wear these for cross training and all around town. Highly recommend. Love the roomy toe box.

I love these shoes. I have narrow neutral feet and these are the best! I love the wider toe box and the tightness on the arch. Perfect shoes for me. Will be buying another pair.

No more ingrown toenails for me! I am a RN and work on my feet, I wear compression calf sleeves and comfy socks with these shoes and I have had no issues. Finding these shoes saved my feet. I used to wear compression stockings but had terrible ingrown toe nails. These shoes have a perfect wide toe box that accommodates nice thick socks. I have several pairs of Altras, and I really prefer these for a 12 hour shift.

I love the wider toe width to let your toes spread in a normal span and not closed in a triangle! Very comfortable and no blisters when walking for shopping, exercise, etc. GREAT shoes!

My feet were hurting so bad from plantar fasciitis and my dr recommended that I try Altra shoes. I bought these to use for High Fitness (which I love but was about to quit going to because of my foot pain). These shoes were my last ditch effort to see if I could keep doing my fitness class. I noticed such a huge difference after wearing them to class that first time. I do not feel like my feet are crippled any more after working out. I cannot say enough good things about them. I've recommended these specific shoes to another member of my fitness class. Thank you Altra for relieving my foot pain and helping me stay in the fitness class that I love!

Super comfortable, very lite weight! Great for walking, running. Never did they hurt my feet after wearing them.
