I was shocked that these shoes worked for my 9 AAA feet; I have never had a medium width shoe fit me in the past. The only reason I didn't keep them is because I needed shoes with non-marking soles for pickleball and tennis courts. I hope Altra can soon offer a true tennis shoe.

The shoe is true to size, comfortable, very light and so comfortable. So happy I found this. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Standing. Weight training. Free dance requiring grippy soles cause these totally grip and do not slide so gotta pick up those feet because where they come down gonna stay. Chillin. Comfy. I think look cool too

i love these my only complaint would be that my heel comes out easily when doing lunges. other than that they are great, good arch support and very comfortable. they did run a half size too big for me - i'm usually an 8.5 in other shoes and in these i take an 8

The front part of my foot is much more wide than my heal, so shoes always feel constricting on my toes. These shoes have my toes feeling liberated! They could be more narrow in the back for a perfect fit, but I bought them to free my toes and that problem has been solved!

These sneakers are fantastic. Light weight, comfortable, flexible and seem to conform to my foot shape. My favorite Altra product. I am a size 8 but I always by a 8 1/2 no matter which shoe I buy and that size seems to consistently work well. Great for trails and everyday wear.

Use these strictly at the gym, glad they fixed the heel problem my first pair had. Love them

I had initially given these 3 stars, as I usually wear minimal, totally flexible shoes. I gave these another try though and now I just love them. Not bouncy like the Escalante 2.5. A bit more forgiving on my heels than my thin minimal shoes. I now do think they are sufficiently flexible for running.

I put this shoe to many uses - Pickleball, hospital work shifts, casual walking on concrete paths, and activity of daily living. I found this shoe comfortable from the moment I put it on. It feels good and looks good. I've had patient and friends ask me about the shoes do express interest in getting it. Good job Altra, another win.

Suffered from sesamoiditis. The wider toe box helped with toe alignment and within weeks I was back on track.

i wear these for every day use. It is a very comfortable all around shoe.

I love that these have some cushioning, a flexible sole, arch support, but don't have an elevated heel. Hard combo to find. It's a real plus that they are foot-shaped with a generous toe box. These shoes help me maintain the natural stride that I worked so hard in physical therapy to learn! So many minimalist shoes out there but I'm too old and heavy to do shoes with no cushioninghaha. I will wear these for walking, short runs, and daily wear. My only wish is they they had eyelets for heel lock lacing.

Unfortunately I had to return this pair because they were too narrow. I'm still leaving 5 starts because I'm very thankful for Altras return policy. I returned for the men's version and they are perfect. I use these for the the gym, crossfit and short runs under 2 miles and they work perfect.

I am a hairdresser and I wear tennis skirts to work. They work perfect with my job and runs.

I use them for my short 1-2 mile runs and for other cross training like stairs, jump rope and treadmill interval workouts

I bought a half size bigger than I normally do based on the reviews and they fit perfectly. I use these shoes for trail walking and hiking and following my toddler around the mountains. They are crazy comfortable and easy to put on for casual hiking.

This shoe fits greatlots of space for my toes, cool colors and shape of the shoe, feels great when I run or go around around town, the thickness of the sole is perfect and not weird looking (like some of the others). It's just awesome. It looks exactly like the picture, and looks great on my feetmakes my legs look great. :)

I bought these for hour long workouts that incorporate strength, cardio, and interval training as well as a decent amount of running. I worked out barefoot all summer to help alleviate shin splints and foot pain from other shoes. Hadn't found anything that worked. I've used the Lone Peaks for hiking for the past 4 years and had great luck with them, thought I'd try the Solstice XTs - they felt amazing. No pain or issues at all (though I probably could have tried a half size lower than my Lone Peaks, but they're still okay if I tie them a bit tighter). So glad to have found these.

I use these for at-home workouts and walks.

I've been wearing Altra running shoes for almost three years. It was time for new shoes to wear when I'm working out, so Altras were an easy choice. They fit perfectly and provide the support I need when cross training. I will never wear any other brand again.

I have a wide foot. Most shoes pinch and within a short time my feet ache. I feel like I'm barefooted. Best shoes ever for pickleball
