Awsome sneaker light weight and very comfortable!!!!!

I am a long time runner with over pronation only on one side. These shoes give me the support that I need. Great pair of running shoes. I need a 4W and these were the perfect fit. It felt like I was putting on a pair of slippers.

These are decent running shoes, but there's room for improvement. I was looking for good stability, as I over-pronate. These do the job of keeping my ankles aligned. There's a lot of room in the toe box, so my toes don't feel squished. However, there's an area of the shoe by the top eyelet that digs into my inside ankle bone which makes it uncomfortable. Interestingly, this is only happening with the right shoe, the left one is totally fine. I thought it would improve after a couple of wears, but it hasn't. Also, the tongues of both shoes do not stay in place and slide down the sides of my foot, which requires me to constantly adjust them. The tab where you can criss cross the shoelaces to hold the tongue in place is too far down close to the bottom, so it is ineffective. I don't think I'd buy these again.

Use for running and walking around the apartment parking lot

I have been wearing NB for probably 30+ years. I had recently bought a pair of 860's to replace an older pair of 860's. The new style 860 is terrible. The NB store fittted me with a size 12 B. I usually wear a 11.5 B. The new 860, even being a 1/2 size larger rubbed a callus on the second toe, and caused ankle pain. The new 940 that I purchased looks to be the same as my older 860, which I love. I am an older runner and my bad knees have pushed me into walking. I walk 4.5 miles every day. and like the support the 940 provides. I will absolutely continue to buy 940's.

Hoping the shoe would be be much better than it is.

I am 72 and ware a 16B. My feet hurt all the time. I found that these are perfect for all day wear and they breath for comfort too.

Great fit and look. Comfortable and very well made

Quality is good, just I made mistake when ordered wide size. NEXT time I will order standard size.

I've been running with these sneakers every morning and they appear to be good, for my first time buying over internet.

I like my new New Balance shoes, I need a shoe with heal support and some motion control so New Balance is the way to go. My problem is that I had to guess at my shoe size. So I ordered size 11.5 (because in the past I was buying size 11 or 11.5 when trying the shoes on in the store). Now with the stores closed I am having to guess at my shoe size and I guessed wrong. I'm not a hardcore runner. But I'm developing a blister on my left shoe from sliding around in the shoes during my simple 2.5-mile jogs. I will be buying the same model shoe in a couple months but next time with go with a size 10.5 and hope that works out better.

I had this similar shoe from about 5 years ago from FeetFleet. Just glad that I was able to find a great replacement shoe that makes me feel great when I run rather it be on the road or on the treadmill.

I have a hard time finding shoes that fit. These do. I appreciate New Balance for continuing to provide shoes for narrow feet.

Not good or bad, just an average shoe. Instead, I recommend you purchase the New Balance shoes with "fresh foam". Those shoes are worth the money

Luv the 940 line. Great support and super comfortable

For a narrow 13 (which I usually wear) these fit a little big. Maybe I need to tie them tighter but the foam around the heel feels softer/puffier than usual.

I've wrorn the same size for years. With this new version, the size is off. I lost both big toe nails after the second use.

I bought these as they claimed to be supportive. the material on the top of the shoe is too light / thin and does not support my foot from moving around. I put arch supports in them and they squeak against the side of the shoe. I would not but this model for any type of support again.

The uppers are softer and more comfortable. No change to fit which is great. Perfect for wide foot with high instep and 200 lb runner. I use metatarsal pads under the insole and plenty of room. Unfortunately not made in US.

The most comfortable shoes right out of the box. Going to order another pair!
