The shoes that I received were bigger than expected so they don't really fit well, and the one I bought previous were sent the wrong size and to small. So I sent those back but a hassel to do so I am just keeping the bigger ones and going with it. Not really happy with shoes.

The box had two right shoes. We retuned and still don't have a refund two weeks later

Right fit for my ankle issues (metal plate inside my ankle). My ankle is so happy now lol

This is my second pair of these shoes. I am pleased with them. True to size and fit.

Great shoe, very comfortable from the start. I use the shoe for walking. It replaces an earlier model which was also great.

My husband absolutely loves the comfort of this show. He wishes he would have purchased 2 pairs.

These shoes are very well constructed but I am not sure they are the right shoes for me. This is the first time I have ever ordered 940s. They are a little bit heavy and the shoes strings are way too long. I have an extremely narrow foot and have to tighten the shoes all of the way for them to work. I think they will work for walking but I am not sure about running.

This model works great for me. Plenty of support & cushioning. And thanks to New Balance for offering wide widths.

The sneakers fit good and feel nice, except for this pinch spot on the big toe area. It's Horrible. There is a crease that forms and will NOT pop out. It puts constant pressure on the toe area since it pinches inward.

the plastic around the toebox is very painful to walk around in. this was the worst purchase I've made online. Ever.

I really like these shoes (my first NB), though I bought them during COVID lockdown, so I did not have the services of a store. Still, knowing I have narrow feet and my childhood need for corrective shoes, I think I made a decision I can live with. Very comfortable, with one or two pairs of socks.

Been wearing 940's for at least six years and loved the 940v2, then lived with the 940v3 which seemed heavier. I just bought the 940v4 after briefly trying the 990, and love the 940v4. If feels lighter AND has no binding material on the top front of the shoe. Allows the shoe to bend and flex freely without hurting the top of my toes or foot. Rushed back to the store to buy a second pair of 940v4 to rotate shoes and put away the 990!

These shoes provide the perfect combination of stiffness and support. I wear them daily when I take my 4 mile walk. Got them on sale too!

Bought this shoe for walking, it is uncomfortable and has a harder sole than the 940v3 and 840v3 definitely would not recommend this shoe. Been wearing New Balance shoes for years and this is the first pair that I absolutely dislike.

Really enjoy the shoe and the comfiness that was added into the insert. Joy to wear.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis pain so I need to wear sneakers that can accommodate my condition. The 940 have performed great after a couple of weeks of taking them on long walks. Definitely recommend for anyone who suffers from low arch or plantar fasciitis pain.

I purchased these shoes for outdoor distance running. I was a distance runner in my youth until I developed injuries in my lower legs, and I stopped running for decades after that. When the gyms closed, I had to move my fitness activity outside, and these shoes combined with my custom orthotics have made that possible. I run approximately 5 miles a day, primarily on a dirt and gravel trail. I have been able to accomplish this without problems. The shoes are stable. They provide great support and cushion, but they do not seem heavy.

It's been a couple weeks and they're not broke in yet. I use them for work.(medical field). Last pair was a pair of 860s,they were great. These aren't quite so comfortable yet. I'm a little disappointed in the price also. Coming from the factory, I would have thought they might be a little less expensive than second sole,where I got the last pair. You know,no middle man. But hoping these are as good as or better than the 860s.

This is my second pair in the past year. Love how they fit, especially the narrow width.

Bought them for walking very lightweight feels like your wearing slippers.I had the 840's for 2 years and loved them so I figured I give these a try.

I use them for everyday walking, working out and running

My left arch fell along time ago and the over pronation has grown decidedly worse. This shoe alleviates the pain in the foot, ankle, and knee and allows me to hit my mileage goal every day!
