Very comfortable and fits like my other New Balance shoes.

I was over charged by $30. I would not buy again unless refunded the difference.

I bought this for walking and I am not disappointed with the fit and comfort. It is a great looking shoe in addition to providing a nice cushioned feel when walking.

I had foot problems and my Dr. said to buy this shoe. that was 10+ years ago and my feet are much better

Probably one of the best pair of sneakers I have owned. Fits my arch like a glove! Cushioning overall is also great. Definitely worth every penny. Would love to see more color options.

I've worn 940's since the design came out. V1 and V2 were very comfortable designs. I wear a 12 extra wide, and am on my feet and on the move 10-12 hours a day in a hospital setting. The V3 design had a more narrow toe box which felt pinched, causing me to switch to a different shoe, the 1140. It was OK, but heavier not as comfortable for all day wear. When the V4 came out, I ordered a pair and it was like seeing an old friend return. Perfect fit and all day comfort. So I ordered 3 pairs!

Wanted a black shoe with the usefulness and quality of a 940

Loyal New Balance customer with a 15 narrow. 940's fit a little wider than the 1080's, 860's and 1260's which fit me perfectly. Unfortunately the 940's were bigger in the toe box and did not get the usual feel. Solid looking show just don't fit.
