A really comfortable shoe that also offers good support. I discovered that this is my second pair. I am still using the original pair and bought the new ones when I saw them on sale on the web site. Now I wish I had bought 2.

I recently purchased the 940v4 and it is my first new balance shoe. Even though I am currently in the period of breaking them in, I'm loving the shoe more and more everyday. Being an extreme over pronator, I needed something with stability and comfort and these shoes offer just that. As far as the size goes, I recommend to buy a couple sizes and keep the one that fits you. I have been a Nike and Adidas wearer and I had to go 1 size down for the perfect fit.

I went a half size down and typically 2e. Could have went a full size smaller and normal width.

I buy New Balance for my grandson . He has a wide width foot and the sneakers are always very comfortable and come in many styles and colors.

I am on my feet 10-12 hours a day. As a teacher and floor assoicate at a big box store. These shoes are comfortable and lend my weight over 275 a ton of support and comfort. Love

I thought my size 11.5-B 860v10's fit well and were ultra comfortable, but the 940v4 in a size 11-B is possibly the best fitting shoe I have ever worn. I just wish there were more than two color options in B width. I originally ordered the 940's in 11.5, but they were quite a bit larger than my 860's.

Mainly every day use and walking. Good stability and comfort.

The foreign made shoes do vary in size, I recently bought a pair of 410 v6 at a store and took a size 13. I ordered the 940 v4 in a size 12.5 to be safe but, it is longer than the size 13 410. Overall I like the fit and feel of the shoes and will keep them, would have been happier with the 12 4E.

Stable and durable little tight on the toes laces are good

Wear them for work. seem to run a little bigger than previous versions.

I use these shoes for everything but work. They are comfortable and smart looking. I have 4E width and New Balance hits it right every time! Best fitting shoes I have ever worn.

I over probate and these shoes have the control I desire. Also wanted a little extra but not too much room and the 12.5 size was helpful as well as a little extra width. First snug but comfortable.

The medial support feels like it is higher than in earlier versions of shoes. They cause the middle of the out sole to rub the outer foot till it causes pain to wear it.
