I ordered the same size size 12 1/2 2E width as the 1080v9 and the 1080V10 is much narrower. I wish I has ordered a 13 4E. All my other New balance shoes over the years have always been 12 1/2 2E and have fit perfectly. The shoes are comfortable just too small.

Let's do the negative first. I don't like the webbing that anchors the tongue to the base. It's either that or the N logo that's harder than usual. When I do runs longer than 1hr, I get blisters where the webbing meets the logo on the inside. Please go back to the v9 tongue design for the next version.
Apart from that, the fit is much more snug than the v9 and I do like the new heel design. At least for me my heels stay snug.
Cushion felt a bit softer and still maintaining a bit of road feel during run. All compared to v9 which it improves on.
Too bad about the tongue webbing design. For a while I was trying to find more stocks of v9 before a new version comes out.

I run about 4 (recreational) miles/day. The sole is great; not too cushy, but comfortable and gives a good lift-off. Unfortunately, the top of the shoe, especially the heel, is poorly designed and of cheap quality. The heal especially is very flimsy, offers virtually no support and the inside/back of the shoe is of a slippery plastic-like material. (My heel slides up and down). Similarly, the side of the shoe offers no support. (it is like running with a loose sock). Finally the top of the shoe is thin and chep, so if you run through any dust or dirt, this material will penetrate onto your feet.

I've been a 11, medium width, for the last 35 years (I'm 53) but these shoes were both too short and too narrow. However, I could tell that if I'd ordered 11 1/2 and wide they would be super comfortable. Just make sure you order at least a half size up and wider than normal and you'll love 'em.

I am a fan of fresh foam and have been for years. The new 1080v10 has a new and VERY uncomfortable seam at the top of the shoe where the tongue is sewed on. The seam sits on the highest part of the foot and not closer to the toes where previous versions sit. If you have an orthotic, thicker sock or denser insert that comes with the shoe -- forget about it. Rubes like crazy. I hope New Balance corrects this problem because they're a great shoe otherwise.

Sizing is consistent, very comfortable except where sewn around ankle has rubbed blisters. Feels like there an imperfection where sewn.

Everything about these shoes were great except for the stitch in the tongue of the shoe. It runs across the top of my foot and is very uncomfortable. Poor design for that stitch.

I am not sure if I will buy these again. First, I bought them at the recommendation to help plantar issues. Not helping yet. Second, I have been surprised to see some of the wear already visible, even though the only place I wear these are at the office.

I have been watching a review on this shoes in the past (nb fresh foam 1080v) most of them really love this shoes so I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I was so stoked, very exited to receive this shoes so I can put some miles in it. so finally it arrived, the looks is what I have expected. I put it on and walked around the kitchen with it on and right away It felt great. so the following morning I laced up and headed to my 6 mile every other day run. the first two mile I started felling some pain underneath my mid bottom foot on my right foot. so I kept going hoping that it will go away I ended up turning back and finished 5 miles instead it was painful maybe my foot is just not like everyone else. I had my daughter run with it and she had the same problem. I didn't want to return it because I know behind this shoe design theres people that worked very hard to make this work for most runners I will keep it just for walking.im not hating on you new balance it just didn't work for me.

The tongue of the shoe is not separate. It is attached to an elastic band on each side of the tongue. The result...it is like wearing a compression shoe. Possibly better for overall support. But definitely not very COMFORTABLE.

I am fit and large. I purchased the 1080v10 due to heel pain, probably associated with plantar fasciitis. The shoe is comfortable, well-padded, and reasonably flexible for a shoe of its type. That said, it so plush (springy in some reviews) that it allows significant lateral foot/ankle movement (wobble) in a manner very similar to the lighter NikeFree models. It is probably good for lighter runners and those with great form.

The high back on the shoe is not comfortable. The one before this new one is much better.

The sole pits right in front of the heel. I have had every version starting with 1080 version 3 and these are the first to do that. 3 different pairs and all are doing it. Other than that they are great shoes.

The shoe feels great with a lot of cushion. If you wear prescribe orthotics these are NOT THE SHOE FOR YOU. There's not enough depth in the shoe, I was having the heels of my feet coming out often so I had to send them back unfortunately. I wear a size 16 shoe FYI!

Product felt good on my feet, very comfortable and light weight. Until I put in my orthotics next, No Good. The shoe doesn't give you enough depth for thicker inner sole. If you don't need to have Rx iiner soles or they're slim to your feet then great but us big guys who need thick, sturdy, othortics.....no good!

Out of the box I ran for 4 miles to try them out. On the 3rd mile it left me blisters on both feet in the same spot (next to the ball of my foot). Not sure if I need to break them in or change the insoles. The shoes has a lot of bounce and responsive.
