Love the shoe, but can't wear it because the tow box wasn't wide enough in the Wide option. Could you make a speedgoat with a wide tow box option because high miles are run in these shoes leading to the foot swelling.

My podiatrist assured me that Hoka was the best all around footwear for support and comfort, so I ordered an M Speedgoat 4 in Fiesta/Provincial blue. Unfortunately, the right shoe had a very bulky seam that hurt my distal instep and I could not tolerate the discomfort. I was very surprised and very disappointed. I immediately returned the M Speedgoat 4 and received my refund today.

I know this is a highly rated shoe and works for many people but not for me. I appreciate the opportunity to actually run in them before deciding but in actuality they never made it out of my living room. I have a little wider foot and they were a little to narrow but more than that they just didn't seem to fit my foot shape. The moment I put them on they were uncomfortable so there was no use taking advantage of the opportunity to run in them knowing they weren't going to work. I'm sure it is a quality shoe for many people but just not for me.

Pinched in all the wrong spots and got huge bloody blisters! Worst upper ever!

Toe Box too small and tight. Have loved previous HOKA shoes - Challanger 5 and Clifton 5 and 6. Nice wide toe boxes with great feel. The Speedgoat 4 - I had high hopes because the description states wide toe box - simply not true. Tightest forefoot and toe box for a wide shoe I have ever tried - even smaller and tighter than the Saloman. Returned because unable to wear.

Small Had to send back and have not heard anything!!

I ran in the sneakers literally one time and the material started ripping. These sneakers are not of good quality. Not worth the money.

For some reason, the tongue is made of harder plastic that feels sharp and digs into my feet when I run. Would not be able to run in these a second time. Could easily be remedied by adding some softer cloth or mesh in this area.

At the front of the shoe there was extra strings that were hanging out that had to be trimmed and burned so they didn't Fray Fir the price of them I would expect better quality control Overall comfort is good

Bought and returned these the same day to a retailer because they are too narrow even in the so called wide. How many more years does Hoka need to hear "YOUR SHOES ARE TOO NARROW IN THE FOREFOOT." A few models have even become narrower this year, such as the new Challenger and Clifton 7, compared with the Clifton 6.

Great looking shoe, however the plastic material makes a weird sound when walking, and a weird indentation forms in the plastic while walking. I think if the shoe had the same material (mesh) the shoe would be better. Also need more choice of color when it comes to the wide size as well .

Read their 1 or 2 star reviews, those are real. All the 5 star reviews are fake. Beware. I ordered 3 items from them, totaling $350. The order never shipped. It apparently "got lost and the label was damaged" and I never was notified. I had to reach out and ask what was going on and they said a refund would be given. Nope. No refund. Now, all communication has stopped and they have ignored all my messages. Please, beware. I now have to get my attorney involved for a $350 order. Luckily, my brother is an attorney, but he will be making sure they regret not refunding what is mine back to me. You have been warned. I went on and looked at their Instagram and they have 400k followers, but in deeper research, most of them are fake/spam accounts. I have reason to believe this is a fake company that does ship enough to stay in business and under the radar. Try and find an email address to get a hold of anyone...you won't! Its a total sham.

For some reason the plastic on the tongue cut into foot. Thought maybe too small but tried one size larger and wider. No help - returned. Purchased another HOKA product original size and fit perfect. Wrote about this matter when I returned...never received any feedback.. Thought I would since have purchased over 6 HOKA items.

I returned the shoe because it was too narrow. I wear a width of 4E and you offer only one shoe in black that is a 4E. Not what I wanted. I had to return to New Balance where they have a good selection of wide shoes.

I have many pairs of HOKAS Including RINCON , CLIFTON and BIONDI and .. this shoe just hurts along the outside edge . Disappointing

The width of the shoe took all the flex out of the toe box. I blistered three toes before a big event. Also flex tweaked my legs to the point that I thought I was out for the rest of the season. Wanted to like this shoe, but that did not happen.

I was really looking forward to this shoe. Unfortunately, the fit was not there for me. They had a tendency to pinch my little toe on both feet. This occurred while just trying them on an bending my foot. Not the fit in the toe box I am used to with Hoka. I returned the shoes so that I could take time and find another Hoka. Unfortunately, I have now been waiting almost a month for a refund. I had to move on to another company in the meantime. Maybe, I will get back to Hola one day.

Bought my fifth last pair a month ago and the material on top is peeling off. Sent a picture and question regarding warranty with no response from Hoka.

I really want to like Hoka and keep hoping that they will adjust the toe box on other shoes like they did with the Stinson ATR 5. Nope. This is my second try on the Speed Goat model and I'm having the same issue with blisters from the small toe box even with a wide. Wore the first pair for Trail Ragnar and had to switch to my ON Cloudventures for the last run. Same issue with my Mafate Speeds. They are just uncomfortable, even when resigned to a pair of casual wear shoes. The Stinson ATR 5 is the only pair I have liked so far.

Toe box too narrow for a wide size. Pinches outer toes.

Right shoe top lace part came unglued after 2 days of light use.
