I live on the north shore of Boston and we have rocky, muddy, and rooted trails. I run in all weather and these shoes have exceeded my expectations in every way!

The shoes are amazing. Cushy, stable, fast, and my waterproof ones are incredibly watertight. But frankly the tongue sucks. Rubbed me raw if I didn't wear taller socks so I ended up taking a knife to it to trim it down. But seriously. Buy these shoes. They're awesome.

Fixed the toe box from the Speedgoat 3 and now it's the best trail shoe I've ever run in.

actua I have four pairs of Hoka shoes. They are great! I have two pairs of Cliftons those I use for everyday walking on the road. One pair of Gore- Tex I wear for work only. The best ones yet are the SpeedGoat 4 Trail shoes. I love the way these shoes have cushioning for those rough dirt trails I like so much. Hoka One One has the best shoes I have ever tried. I had foot surgery almost two years ago. I finally have found a brand of shoe that will work for all my purposes. Thank you Hoka!

Tell you the truth. I haven't even worn them yet I'm still on my last pair before I get into the new season. But as far as off-trail and trying them on they feel way more comfortable way more stable in the wide size. I wish I had them on trail. But I don't want to fall in love with them before I finish off the last Fair!

Woooowwww they fell like clouds on my feet. I have a bad knee and it feels great with this pair of shoes. This is my third pair of shoes and by far these are the best. I will buy another pair in two weeks. Thank you

Never thought I'd be wearing Hoka's, and on many occasions gave my friends a hard time about how goofy they looked. However, I had to borrow a pair of Speedgoat 3's, and was converted after just a few miles. I've had a dozen pairs of different Brooks, tried Salomon's, Altra's, Inov8's, Reebok's, Asics, and always had some nagging issue with them. After 400 miles on my newest Speedgoats, I don't know if I'll ever buy another brand. Way more stable than you'd think on terrain (Southern CO and Northern NM mountains, dirt and loose stuff). No knee issues, no shin splints, no squeaks, no uppers that fall apart (Brooks, I'm looking at you). I am more than happy to defend these weird looking shoes because they are awesome. 165 lbs, 5'9", Size 11D, Neutral runner...

I bought this to run trails but have been wearing to work daily. It has a great Vibram sole and it super comfortable. My third pair of Hoka running shoes.

I just got these last night suffer from pain in my feet from working on my feet all day concrete and steel toed work boots for thirty years I put these shoes on for the first time i did not want to remove them matter of fact i never took the left off to try a different show pulled it right back off and put this matching shoe back on wore them out of the store went shopping after loved walking around in them I wasn't sure about them at first but would not trade them feet feel great thank you i paid more money for good feet insoles I can't stand to wear. just love the feel of my new shoes thanks again Ron H. from Bethany, Ok

Very happy with the shoes and how it treats my feet. I will probably stick with Hoka for my next purchase.

Hokas feel great to a big guy with plantar fasciitis. Lots of cushion.

I have a Right and Left Hip Replacement When im not on the Bike I Trail Run They Work and there the Best I have had. I cant tell you much about the Breakdown Time because there Brand New 1st Run was last Night. I can recommend Utah Run Great Store in American Fork Utah go in and Talk to M-Cat she is wonderful

I really enjoy the change from the SG3 to the current SG4. The tiny bit of extra width made the difference for me, plus the slightly more firm foam underfoot made the feel much more stable on more technical terrain. Out of the box for back to back 20 mile trail runs without blisters or any pain. I trust the traction on this shoe unlike anything I've run in for years.

Back to trail running after 5 years off. Tried to get Hokas long ago, but they didn't offer my size 15. Now they do and I love them.

Best trail shoe I've tried. They hook up on all surfaces of trail, and great foot protection. Lightweight.

Loving the shoes, I wear them all the time. The look is fire, and the performance is great. All the little improvements like the leveled tread, slightly larger toe box on the lateral, and improved locked-in midfoot make it a definite improvement to the last one; all the things that I wasnt really happy about with the 3's got attention with the 4's.

I wear these six day a week for 9-10 hours a day at my job. These by far are the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. I had to return the first pair I ordered because they were too tight which I have never had a problem with in any other shoe. The exchange process for a wide size was flawless and quick. I wish the same colors were available in wide and standard but they are not. The one big negative I have is that these shoes are very noisy. They sound like you are wearing cleats but the sound is from sticking to the floor not being hard. I would not be able to sneak up on anyone and honestly it is very annoying. This would be the only reason I would be hesitant on purchasing another pair. I contacted customer support and they said it should wear in after about 30 days but they are still noisy. These are worn indoors on painted and tile floors and both are just as loud.

I have wide feet so I bought a half size larger and got the 2E and they fit perfectly. The only real gripe I have about these shoes is the overlays on the upper, which start coming apart within a few miles of wearing them. If Hoka could put the Speedgoat 4 cushioning together with the Speedgoat 5 uppers, I think it would be a perfect shoe.

I love the cushion and exceptional traction.

These were a little tight when they arrived and rubbed against my right ankle. I'm hoping the more I wear them the better they will fit. Love the lugs on the sole of this shoe. Super for gripping the trail when He king.
