Have run in Saucony and Solomon for many years and have found my new love. Speedgoat has a secure feel and grip. Look forward to many miles.

Started trying the 'goats with the 2 and they have just gotten better. The 4 is a perfect fit, and just love what they've done with it. Need this shoe on the Virginia (and other) trails!

I loved my road Hoka One One Cliftons, but needed some better trail shoes after having something else. I got these and my first run was night and day from my other shoes. I felt like I was floating along the trails. Love these shoes! With the new toe box being wider, it diffidently makes a difference.

This is a great overall Trail shoe, in fact it is even comfortable to where everywhere. It has good traction and enough cushion to protect your body without any instability issues. It is also tough and rugged and up to a lot of mileage. And then to top it off it is a super cool looking shoe that offers many color options. A no-brainer! Try them.

My knees were aching but these have helped and the traction is awesome. Hoping they last. 75 miles and still feel new

Great shoe. Very comfortable, however somewhat tight the in the toe box. But, after a few times of wearing them the toe box area becomes more comfortable.

Feels like no other trail shoe I've ever owned. As I have narrow, high arch, Under Pronating feet, but love my hiking and trail running/jogging was excited when my son suggested buying a pair of your shoes. Fortunately, one of my son's best friends and hiking buddies, also has owned a pair of Speedgoat 4's for awhile and has virtually the same build and Foot issues as I do. So I reached out to him to see his experience, and he was an enthusiastic supporter and informed me he has just finished hiking Mt Whitney in CA and they had performed perfectly, as well as having hiked all through the Sierras with them as well. Bought my pair that same day, and am my wife is waiting for her pair we just ordered. Thank you.

If I don't have to pay attention to my shoes in a trail hike or run then they are doing their job. I don't have to think about these goats at all.

Background: long distance hiker and occasional trail runner. 56 year old male.
Previous shoes: Altras (lone peak and Olympus), La Sportiva Spires.
After trying just about every shoe brand (including most hoka models), and every insole made (superfeet, currex, spenco, etc) I finally tried the speedgoat 4s. The cushioning is the perfect balance between protecting my feet (fixes my metatarsalgia) and stability. My only complaint is that on a 75 mile hike I developed blisters on the outside of both feet. The blisters were in the bunionette area of the foot. I suspect the stretchy material that holds the tongue in place my be to blame, but not sure. Foot shape is a more likely cause. I've put 200 hard miles on the shoes and it looks like I can get about 200 more before they're done.
Altra comparison: I rarely had blisters in Altras (LP and Olympus), but I always found them to be a bit sloppy. I have a slightly narrow foot (C+ width). I also like the ball-of-foot cushioning of the hokas better. The 4mm drop of the speedgoats seem to turn into a zero drop after about 100 miles.
Insoles: I tried the speedgoats with aftermarket insoles, but prefer them with just the original insoles.

The Speedboat is an awesome shoe. I have flat feet and wear orthotics with other shoes but these need no additional insert! I love how light weight they are and cushioned as well as supportive. Love to hike, walk and run in these. This is my second pair but certainly not my last!

Husband is a size 15. He grew up with shoes that never fit quite right or were supportive. Finally convinced him to try a Hoka and they are awesome! He keeps thanking me ;)

Epic and amazing...comfy and last anywhere between 400-600 miles per/pair.
I'm always running trails in CO, ultra-racer, 50 milers, etc. and these have been a strong go to for me!

I am addicted to the Hoka One One shoes. I first tried them with my bad back and now I can not live without my Hoka. I even wear my Hoka with dress up clothes.

Great shoe. Excellent comfort while providing support. If you are reading this then consider, I will never invest in any other brand tennis shoe again. Hoka has found to the "secret sauce" that makes you want to always come back for more. Great job! P.S. Order directly from them. Their customer service is outstanding too.

I was having calf and other issues and a friend told me to check these running shoes out. When I first put them on I thought they felt a little soft for me - but running on the trails with them was quite amazing and I have never looked back! Great shoe and a fan for life now!

This is the first pair of Hoka shoes I bought. I use these shoes mainly for walking gravel and dirt roads in my area. Out of the box these shoes fit great. I took them on a 5 mile walk. I could not believe how COMFORTABLE this shoe were. My bad back didn't hurt as much as it usually does after a long walk.
I bought a different pair of Hoka for walking on concrete/asphalt. Same results as my first pair. These were the wide size.

I've been running, and wearing all day, HokaOneOne shoes for a decade or so. Wouldn't wear any other brand shoe. They new "wide" models are great, eliminating sores and calluses, a super improvement. Wish they had the wide in more colors: I like lively colors.
