I bought a pair of Speedgoat 4s , size 10 - They were tight in the forefoot directly behind my big toe. That said, I immediately sent them back without even running in them. I then ordered the same size, but in "wide". What a difference. They fit/feel fantastic. I have now run about 35 miles in them and they are both stable and extremely comfortable. I also run in my HOKA challenger 4s and thought that they were my favorite shoe - I love them. But, these Speedgoat 4s may even be more enjoyable to run in. Time will tell, but at this point, I couldn't be happier. I almost forgot to mention the fact that the traction on them is great.

The fit and size were fine. They seem to be designed to be water proof and don't seem to breathe much, that's why I decided to return them.

Bought these off my boyfriend’s wishlist in an 11.5 and a 12 (he’s an 11 on one foot, an 11.5 on the other and borrow width). He usually wears an 11.5 in Hoka, but a store we visited suggested sizing up a half size for this style. They didn’t have any sizes in stock to try on, so we bought both. The 11.5 ended up being perfect; he’s taken them on a few trail runs so far and really loves them! People in his running club have been asking about his new shoes and he’s recommended them to everybody. Returned the 12s (Zappos returns are so easy and quick - big thanks!)

Fit better than my earlier pair of Hoka Ones. Slightly wider in the toe box in the regular width. Stable and comfortable.

First pair of Hokas and I'm extremely pleased. I use an everyday sneaker and feel these are the most comfortable sneakers I have worn. Very cushioned and yet supportive.

As always the best trail shoes I've worn. Technical, non-technical, steep descents, steep ascents, short and ultra speedgoats are my go to.

First time purchasing shoes from HOKA. Got a recommendation from my brother because he has a pair. I use these shoes while running outdoor on trails and pavements. Very satisfied with the shoes I purchased. Very light and comfortable on the feet. Shoes fot just right. I'm able to run longer and further wothoit getting as fatigued like before.

Great and support and comfortable. Used it in our hikes in Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Felt it protected us from injury.

I have multiple Hoka trail shoes and the Speedgoat and TenNine are my favorite. I need the cushion due to knee and back issues and hike not run. This shoe has a great balance of cushion, light weight , and support and is available in wide and gore Tex. I saw more AT thru hikers with this shoe this year. I would suggest making the toe box a little wider.

Recently I ran a 10K trail run, twice my previous longest, wearing Clifton's. Decided if I'm going to run trails I needed proper footwear. This morning I did break in 2 mile trail run. Speedgoat 4s did great. Love the wide width.

I wear these everyday, including moderate walks and hikes. With wide feet, I'm always searching for a comfortable, durable, multi-purpose shoe. Those searches are over. After trying my first pair for a month, this was my second purchase. It took a couple of weeks to adjust to the minimal drop and significant cushioning of the sole. Walking and hiking are quite comfortable in these shoes. I would recommend these shoes to anyone with wide feet, especially those with an active lifestyle.

Picked up a pair of my trust worthy goats in a wide for the Born to Run 100 mile, threw them on at mile 70 when my feet got Swollen and they did what they're made to do, they've been my go to trail shoe for the past few years and they've only gotten better, toe box still could be a bit wider but that's always been my only gripe .

The sneakers are extremely comfortable and light. If you have a wide foot, I recommend getting them in wide.

Initially thought I got a half size too small because my toes were rubbing a bit. After a quick 10K trail they were adequately broken in and they fit PERFECT. Cushion is perfect, very comfortable, light, and very grippy...don't find myself slipping on wet/steep surfaces. Now have about 30 miles on them and I plan on buying another pair when worn out.

I'm female but bought men's Speedgoat because I liked the color options better. Love all the HOKA styles. I have the Clifton and Bondi. Unfortunately, will need to put them away for the summer because Vegas heat is on and the snakes are out.

I'm a happy customer of Hoka shoes - they are honestly the reason I'm still able to run. Regular shoes were causing severe pain. I do mainly road running but with a few trails mixed in. Speedgoats are super grippy and great.
