I love how comfortable Hoka are. I struggle with fitting my right heel though. Left foot is perfection. So once I can find a good replacement insole....I will be perfectly !

I loved the shoe and how it feels but the tongue of the shoe is less than desirable. The material it is made with material that when rubbing against my ankle/leg leaves small marks. I am returning them because I think it will be leaving permanent marks and will start to hurt.
I'd also recommend:
Saucony , Brooks

I love HOKA One shoes. I have a wide foot, so I'm limited to certain styles. I've worn Biondi for several months and love them. Speedgoats are great too as far as cushion and support of the base. My only suggestion is to increase the padding on the tongue. I have severe midfoot arthritis, and the extra padding would increase my comfort.

I've used these shoes for trail hiking and on the road walking hills. They have great cushion on and off the trail. My feet don't feel tired even after 18 straight miles. I need extra arch support, just bought additional inserts to help.

Yes, the cushion is awesome, the grip is awesomer, and it's really really comfortable.
For the comfort, I can sacrifice a bit of the bulk.
The minus star comes, not from the bulk so much, as from the narrowness.
The shoes feel longer and narrower on my feet than my usual shoes, and while I don't mind the longer part of it at all, especially as it doesn't seem to affect the fit, I do notice that my very slight bunion on left foot begins to act up after about an hour of walking/jogging because of it. I prefer shoes to be a bit wider.
That said, if you have narrow feet, you'd love these.

This is my 4th pair, as I've put out hundreds of miles for long distance running; full marathons and 50Ks, as well as year round training and a love of being outside. These shoes hold up and do the job fantastically!!!! The only reason I can't give it a 5 is the gosh darned tongue!! None of the other models have that tongueit's a killer if you don't wear taller socks. Otherwise the speedgoats are hands down THE BEST for road and trail.

I am training for a trail half marathon in the U.P. of Michigan. At about 2 months out I got these and ran my 3 mile runs with them. The first two runs I had some foot pain. Then I ran 5 and was fine. I'm looking forward to trying a long run soon with them. They are very supportive and have excellent traction.

I am overall very happy with this shoe but the tongue is weirdly long and rubs my ankle. I have considered cutting it back a little bit but don't want to hurt the shoe - not sure. Wish it weren't so long.

I bought this shoe and the Bondi7 both are very comfortable, this shoe is a little different feel with how the sole is, makes me feel like I'm standing more on my heels!

I go running / walking through my local city/town park (pretty flat, mostly gravel, cement and wood trails. The usual route I take is not necessarily long or arduous, but I bought these shoes for the traction (my old sneaks that I would run in outside, albeit, were not trail shoes, would allow for slipping after rain). I also made a hike straight up an 800 ft mountain nearby and that's also when these shoes really shined in all its glory! Uphill, downhill, through rain, mud, any condition, these shoes have amazing traction and grip. If your foot is sloped at an up or downward angle, you can FEEL how well your feet are planted and stable on any surface you're standing on because of these shoes' amazing grip. These are my first pair of Hokas, which I bought in conjunction with Clifton 7's (for the gym / indoor usage, which I also ordered in a size 8). The Cliftons fit JUST RIGHT but this size 8 in the Speedgoat 4's left me with TONS of room in the front toe box, which had me really worried that I might have to exchange them. As soon as you get yourself used to wearing the shoes and after about 10-20 mins of walking in them each time, I don't notice the extra room anymore. I am assuming they give you more room in the front to allow your foot to move more freely and comfortably when it's at an angle. This appears to be the case. I ordered the wide option and they fit great around that area.
The cushioning is so comfortable with every step you take.
The design is beautiful and chic and the reflective details make me feel really safe in any visibility.

Weekly running shoe. fits well. A little more firm than I'd like. May try the Hoka Elevon next for a softer impact, but I am happy with the Speedgoat overall.

As a healthcare worker, I'm on my feet over 12 hours each shift. My feet don't ache at the end of my shift. I love these shoes and the Clifton 7. Would love more color options in Goretex styles. Just to have more protection from spills.

I really like this trail shoe, I run on various terrains and its working out great. I am in the process of breaking them in for a 50K. Love the cushioning, gripping so far has been good . What I don't like is the tongue, its stiff and also comes up far on you foot. I can't wear a no-show sock with them. Was surprised on the sizing. My running shoes are usually 8.5. I had to downsize to an 8 however the toe box has ample room as I was afraid of my bunion rubbing but is does not.

I started running again and moved from a different running shoe to Hoka. I do not regret it. I purchased a wide shoe and it fits my feet perfectly. So much comfort.

I'm sure this is a great shoe for some. For me, it wasn't comfortable. I prefer a plusher shoe all the way around, and the top of the shoe felt uncomfortable. I exchanged for a pair of Bondis, which I am loving, even though they serve a different purpose. Love my Stinson ATR 6's that I got for Christmas though for those trail hikes!

I have the running speed goat.
Great, bright colors.
They are more comfortable than what I have.
I purchased them because I will be working 8hrs a day instead of 5.
I stand on concrete, some places have matts.
I'm going to purchase the walking ones next; I am not complete satisfied, but not in satisfied with my purchase.
I large percentage of my coworkers are wearing them, that's why I'm giving them a try.

I am a huuuge fan of Speedgoats!! I run in them for just about everything long runs on trail, road, and I alternate them with Bondi and Rincon on the treadmill. I have owned Speedgoat 2, 3, and 2 pairs of 4's for fulls and ultras. Needless to say they are my favvvvve. However, I can only give the 4's a 4 star rating bc 'that tongue though!!!!!' Dang!! Taller socks do the trick just fine but still. Not an acceptable tongue for any runner whatsoever. I am waiting on pins and needles for the 5's so pleeeease release them soon!!! Thank you!!!
