I am using the speedgoat 4 for jogging/running on dirt tight trails going up and down hill. They are fantastic! Gription is great. Very light shoe too.

I definitely feel the grip when I'm on the trails running or going up steep terrain BUT they feel wide to me so my foot slides a bit.

I wear these shoes to work for at least 12 hours/day, 3 days/week. I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks (wide width). My feet are much happier than before. They are pretty comfortable, provide good support, and are well made. I wish the laces were a bit longer. It is a little short when laced in all the holes. I think the heel part could use a little more cushion/support. The shoes are also loud when walking on hard floors, but I think that has to something to do with the vibram grip. I can live with that though. Overall, I would purchase again.

Probably still love the 3's more than this new version but still a fan. I did have to size down 1/2 a size. Work well for my tibial tendinitis (with my custom insoles). Love them for long hikes and mtn runs.

Super comfy! At first I thought maybe they were too tight, but after 2 runs they loosened up a bit and now feel very flexible. I always have issues with the toe box/ my pinky toes hurting so I don't think it's the fault of the shoe but rather my feet! Otherwise extremely comfortable and keep getting more comfortable with each run!

I've been using these daily on very rocky trails in the High New Mexico desert where I've been staying Las Cruces, Organ Mountains.. They are super grippy and useful in scrambling my 69 year old feet and knees over boulders and rockslides. They do take a little more breaking in than my 'road shoe' Hokas but thats to be expected. That tongue tho??? Is actually painful where it pokes you in the ankles. I found that bending it back and folding it over eventually softened it up but..seriously?? We should'nt have to do that

Had high hopes for the top-rated Speedgoat, since the HOKA Challenger ATR 6 fits me well. Sadly have to return these because it is very narrow across the forefoot and compresses my foot. May try the men's version and see if it's a bit wider.

I like how the shoe cushions my feet but for some reason the tongue of the right shoe digs into my anterior ankle. The pressure is enough to cause a small abrasion. I like the shoe well enough that I am willing to try to solve the issue.

Bought the SpeedGoat 4 because they have the same 4mm drop heel to toe that Bondi has. I was looking for a firmer, less "cushy", sole and SpeedGoat does meet that requirement. Only complaint/request: I have wide feet and live in the rainy northwest. I wish the "wide" size would come in a waterproof option. There are some wide options but the toe drop is not 4mm. The difference between the SpeedGoat and Bondi, is that the toe box is deeper and felt a little "boat-like". Took a little getting used to. After a week of daily walks, I became quite comfortable in the SpeedGoats. So if you have finicky feet, problem ankles and love to walk,I recommend these shoes with their moderate rocker soles, and firmer base.

I like the shoe once I got it to relax with my foot. I wish the website would have more of the popular sizes. By the time I got on it most of the shoes where sold out.

These were a little bold for my liking - and I usually love bold shoes. They were heavier than I would’ve liked, and after standing around my house in them for an hour, my feet and legs were pretty uncomfortable. I decided to return them, I couldn’t imagine how I would feel after hiking 10 miles in them.

My feet have issues and the cushion on this shoe is amazing. I wore them an entire day straight out of the box! That never happens. The only reason I gave 4/5 is because the top material is taking some breaking in, but will be great to repel dirt, moisture, sticks etc.

Someone recommended that I should try the Hoka shoes for work.I'm on my feet for 12 hours at work on most days and my feet hurts a lot. I have been wearing my Hoka speedgoat 4 for almost a month now, and this shoes has been glorious , its like walking in clouds! Love it!

Great foundation for being on my feet all day 4 stars because I found they were a little crowded in the toe area. And the tongue was very irritating.

I had an older version that fit like a glove. These took a little longer to break in and feel comfortable. If I could I would prefer the older version. I still will only buy the Hoka One brand. They hold up really well with the terrain I run in and just love them.

It came with the ensole folded up but leveled out just fine. Noticed my feet needed fixing at first for the better shoe....now I rock them all day no matter what Im doing. Glad they are wterproof since it started raining. Cant wait to take them uo ahill on a hike.

Support is awesome. The tongue of the right shoe hits my ankle though and irritates it when I wear ankle socks. I have a permanent scratch now but other than that, love the shoe! I love having a shoe with great traction that can handle any terrain and this one is it!

Very comfy right out of the box. More flexible than some previous Hoka shoes I've tried. Only two (minor) complaints: the tongue is a bit long and digs into the front of my ankle a little. And the shoes seem to want to take my no-show running socks off :) Easily fixed with different socks.

I gave it a four star because of the tongue. It rubs weird. Great shoe otherwise. Fits really well. It runs a little big, but not enough that you have to change your size. I like it for when I'm working on my feet all day and they swell a little. Will be great for hiking as well. I always tell my coworkers that I can run real fast now because of the grips on the bottom of them. It feels like I'm walking on a cloud. My back feels better at work.

I read the reviews and knew what to expect. Since I live in a place that does not have paved roads, I walk on compacted dirt/rock roads. During winter they are icy, slushy, snowy. Typically, I wear cleats strapped to my shoes. I did not need the cleats since these shoes have the perfect grip for these conditions. I would have rated them 5 stars, except, as expected (because I did read this in reviews) the tongue of the sneaker needs some improvement...it is very rigid and bends at a point that it affects my big toe somewhat causing slight discomfort. Perhaps they can design them for a future pair that has a more supple tongue. Otherwise, they are fabulous!
