They are great as I have flat feet and was dealing with heel pain until I started running with these. Unfortunately, these gave me blisters at the back. I either have to wear thicker socks or use insoles to raise the back but everyone is different so it's worth a try.

I'm an older runner (60+) who started running 5 years ago. I have been running with Brooks during most of that time, and these are the best running shoes, yet. My ankles and calves get fatigued rather quickly, not to mention the hip and knee pain that comes with advanced age and these shoes have reduced these issues considerably. The only reason I didn't rate them a five is because the lacing system is cumbersome. It takes me longer than normal to loosen the laces to get them on and then lace them up snugly. Perhaps speed laces?

Fantastic shoe! My only complain is that the sock-like material has rubbed a sore spot on the back of one of my heals. This is my second pair of this style. The first pair did not have the sock. After 3 years of wearing those, I bought this pair. The sizing, fit and comfort are all the same, besides the irritating of the right heal for me.

So comfy! The only complaint I have is the back rubs my ankle even with high socks on.

The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is I did get a blister the first wear with these. They come up high on the back of your heel. The next several wears I made sure to wear taller thick socks to prevent that and those helped. I do like these shoes a lot but I wish they did not rub my heel so much. Its not a size issue as they fit fine, but the way they are made they come up higher and tight in the back, Love the colors.

I stand for long periods daily and do a lot of walking. They are supportive and comfortable, except you can't wear too thick of a sock with them. Wish you would make a wider width for these :(

Great although the backs of my ankles got chewed up on my first run. Make sure you wear high socks if you're blister prone while you break them in.

I love the shoe in all ways for all reasons other than the new tongue, which is sewn down and inflexible until a traditional split finally appears about half way up the top of the foot. Unfortunately this prevents a more custom fit over the top of the foot. It is less comfortable and harder to get the shoe on and off. This will not prevent me from repurchasing this shoe or from recommending it to others, but it is an annoyance.

Fantastic cushioning, and good grip on wet pavement. The cuff around top is great for keeping our junk that gets kicked out, but it a little scratchy and rubs my skin. But I truly do love this shoe and will definitely get another pair

I think it's a really good shoe. Gives me enough stability to run, it is light and it has a cushion that makes it very comfortable. Only sometimes my arches will hurt, but with the time my feet got used to the shoe and it almost went away.

Absolutely an amazing comfort from these sneakers. I'm flat footed so these help me a lot! Like they were created for my feet personally. My only con, like everyone else said in the reviews the back of my ankles do get rubbed by the material which hurts a lot but nothing that a bandage can't fix! Wish there was a gel cushion there.

My wife loves the look, but the heel was a bit high for her. We've solved the issue now by putting a stretcher at the back of the heel and she's stylin'!

I've had these shoes for 3 weeks now, and I mostly love them. Like other reviews, I experienced rubbing on the backs of my heels, but they're calloused now, so it doesn't bother me. The shoes were a lot heavier than I was expecting, but they don't feel heavy to run in. It's noticeable if you do any cross training. I wear a size 11 women's shoe, so most shoes feel heavier in this size anyways. Running faster has definitely felt easier in these shoes than the Ghosts I just retired. I find these shoes to be super comfortable and hope they last a long time.

Purchased these for my daughter. She loves them, but at first she was having issues with the back part of the shoe rubbing against the back part of her ankles, causing slight blistering. After about the 4th wear, she is no longer having this issue.

I loved them but unfortunately I had to return due to the back of the shoes irritated the back of my ankle! I wear low socks and did not want to invest and change my socks to higher ones to avoid the irritation Overall Great colors, grew at for and comfort!

I have been running in Levitates for a while now and have always loved them. For some reason this version is rubbing against the back of my heal differently and is irritating my skin. I still love the feel and haven't had any problems running in them, but have to wear higher socks to avoid a burn.

Toe box is not quite as roomy as some of my other Brooks. Fits true to size. Good cushion but not too plush. Sole has good spring.

Kinda tight on top of the feet when initially purchased which made my feet sore about 2 miles in to my long run, but after a few days of breaking them in that went away. I definitely like the stability and spring they give to my feet, making both trail and track runs breeze by. Maybe go half a size up if you want more room above the foot and a little more room for the toes to wiggle in the box.

This is my third pair of Levitates, and they just didn't feel as comfy right out of the box as they usually do. The color selection has also not been great. May have to look for something else. Still a good, well-cushioned running shoe.

I really like this shoe but they run small so I had to return them to get a half size bigger

I tried several different Brooks shoes in the past & they always seemed to rub on my achilles, causing blisters/abrasions. This one is different. Very comfortable, no rubbing. I tried this shoe as it was recommended for people with plantar fasciitis, which I'm starting to develop. These shoes seem to provide both good support and good cushion. Plus, they're lightweight and cute!

LOVE these shoes - but as others had mentioned - it attacked my heel - the back of the shoe is cut to curve in to your heal... not sure who has a foot shaped like that... otherwise a great sneaker!

Very comfortable and light to run in. The only problem I had is when I wore second time I didn't wear socks high enough and the back rubbed and caused bleeding. The back caves in more than the older style. Once i wore socks that rise higher didn't have problem. I love the soft area around the top area of shoe . They are very supportive to run in and love the Kentucky Blue color. I would highly recommend this shoe.

While I absolutely love the look of these, they have a longer break in period. I find the, fo be very snug no matter how I tie the laces. I had the beginning of blisters the first run and mild irritation the next few runs. I will definitely keep and wear them, but they will not be my go-to.

I really enjoy these shoes! Very springy. The heel cuts in a little bit, but nothing long socks can't fix:)
