I gave them a 4, the top of one shoe where the tongue is hurts the top of my foot.

I've ran track for over 10 years and Brooks have always been my go to shoes and when I ran collegiate track we were sponsored by Brooks however I was slightly disappointed in the shoe it was not true to size it was a little tight and normally we are a nine in running shoes . it was tight I wish I would've got a 9 1/2 other than the shoe was Good I wish I would have gotten another type of shoe with a little more support too

I absolutely love the style and colour. However the sizing runs a tad small. I'm usually a Brooks size 9 but it's quite a snug fit compared to my other shoes. Very odd.

They are so comfortable and great for walking. So happy with my purchase.

The shoes felt great but the portion against my achilles tendon, that tab needs some cushion. The size was exacts (length & width), and cushion excellent, Everything was perfect except that part.

One of most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn.

The ankle area caused blisters, until I found reinforced socks, with a high tab to protect my ankle, to wear with them.

Loved my Levitate 2's and ordered the 3's. Would give them a five star if it were not for the high back that rubs my achilles. I had to buy heel inserts and they are perfect now. Brooks is the still the best brand and makes the most comfortable running shoes on the market. Just had to make a slight modification to this one.

I love the style and colors! They are very light and have a nice spring. They also have great arch support. My only complaint is that I have super tiny and narrow feet, so I ordered normal width, figuring I'd have plenty of room and these shoes are incredibly narrow. They squeeze the outsides of my feet. The more I run in them, it's getting better, but I still wish they weren't so tight on the outsides of my feet.

A little heavy, and the hard back cut into the back of my heel causing it to bleed. But they are getting better as they I break them in.

I'm a new runner and these shoes are comfortable and light. I was able to increase my speed by 2 minutes per mile the very first time I wore them. I do have to wear ankle socks as opposed to no shows to prevent the back part of the shoe from digging into my Achilles' tendon. That it's such a minor adjustment for the increased performance I receive in return. Overall, I like this pair and would purchase again.

Overall these are great shoes. They are comfortable and I can tighten them down for my narrow feet without making uncomfortable wrinkles in the shoe. They are pretty breathable for hot temps also. The one complaint I have is that the back of the shoe curves in to hug the back of the heel too much. It rubs on the Achilles if there isn't a taller sock to protect the skin.

Love my Brooks BUT I definitely have to wear a sock that is higher above my heel. Shoe rubs on back of foot. After wearing them for a month the right shoe makes like a squeaking noise?? Doesn't matter what type of surface I walk on.

My wife loved her new shoes (after she had to use a shoe stretcher for a few weeks on the left one). She looks really cool wearing them!

This is my first pair of Levitate's after wearing the Adrenalines for years. I finally took the quiz and found I needed a more neutral shoe. I love the design and color. The only dislike is the groove in the heel to keep you in place. It took a few walks to break in the shoe first. Overall, I'd buy it again

I love the fit of these and how they do not slip at all. However I do not feel that they have the spring to them that the previous versions had. But I do like the shoes and wear them for everyday running around town and walking the dog.

Really in love with these shoes. They took a little "breaking in" with the instep and heel. As a matter of fact, I still have to make sure i'm wearing higher ankle socks because I am worried about a blister on the heel. Overall, I'm super thrilled with my purchase. Great for walking/ running. Totally different than my other heavier/ clunkier brooks from over the years (used to buy the Ravenna).

I had read a lot of different comments on this shoe about the high back causing blisters and was a little worried about the purchase but after wearing them for a week I could really tell the difference. I felt like I walked a little straighter and it did help a little with my back and knee pain. I say a little bc I have a back disease but, to someone else it may give a little bit more relief.

Very comfortable and sturdy shoe. I could have poor running form my only criticism would be that I could use slightly more cushion in the front of the shoe for shock absorption. Other wise, they were well worth the price and have lasted me a long time!

I love the look and feel of these shoes. The last pair of running shoes I bought were Asics Gel Nimbus 14s many years ago. I'm not a heavy runner, so they've lasted me all these years. However, I wanted to get a new pair and was interested in the look and description of the Brooks Levitate 3. I've deducted one star because they did rub blisters along my achilles tendon. I'm hoping the fabric softens up with repeated use. Perhaps for future styles they can lower the sock in the back. Otherwise, they have an extremely comfortable foot feel. I have high arches and did not have to use an arch support insole.

I love the look/design of them. They are not quite as comfortable as my last brooks but i might still be breaking them in. I run about 6-9 miles a week. And I am wearing them for work part time too.

This is my second pair of Levitates, which I purchased about a month ago. While I loved my first pair, these do cause quite a bit of discomfort & blisters on my heels. I'm able to bandage up quite well and that does alleviate for my runs, but it is still a hassle. I like the shoe and it's comfort, I'm hoping they will 'break in' a little more.

This shoe is so springy and supportive. I love how I seem to bounce off the pavement and land into it so softly in this shoe. The only thing that bothers me is that the back rubs on my Achilles in just the right spot that I had to buy socks with a heel tab to prevent a blister. Other than that, it's a great shoe for me.

Coming off the levitate 2 to these i was a bit disappointed in the sole cushion level. I love the shoe itself, good toe box and support. Would be 5 stars if it offered the same energizing cushion that the 2s had
