A small investment in higher socks solves the problem of rubbing. These feel like a supportive hug all around my feet. Beyond happy with this shoe! I wear them almost daily at Orange Theory Fitness (treadmill running and floor work)

Love these sneakers. Received them yesterday and wore them today during my daily workout. Comfortable and great arch support. I was worried about the back of my foot based on other ratings but much to my surprise I didn't have any issues. (I wore higher cut socks) Very happy.

I have the Levitate 3 and just love them. Been running with them since August, and they fit my narrow foot very well. They also provide great cushion in the heel. I wear compression socks or Features brand running socks and no problem with blisters.

Most comfortable and well fitting running shoe I have ever owned.

Love these shoes!! They are so comfortable and did not take long to break in. I marked it down to 4 stars because my left heel did have some irritation that I have to occasionally use a bandaid because I had a blister but I think this is improving.

I purchased another pair exactly like the first one to change shoes on the treadmill. I put them on brand new and they fit wonderfully right away.

I really enjoy the way this shoe grips my arch and supports my foot. My only complaint: For winter weather, the "breathing" fabric that is so comfortable for warmer weather, is not warm enough for winter.: Wool socks required, but the shoes are still very comfortable, even with the warmer socks.

Levitate is my go to shoe! These feel a little bit tighter in the toe box versus Levitate 2 but same great comfort. I figure once I break them in more it won’t be as noticeable.

I'm at heart a Ghost wearer, i decided to branch out and try this style. I love the energy return. Where a Ghost is good for absorbing impact, this shoe brings it back and keeps you moving. I was able to run longer before tiring out, but my feet were a little more sore. No biggy. The fit is closer to a launch shoe than a ghost. They are more narrow, but i was still fitted well in my 9.5 size. Just a little getting used to. No biggy. The sock fit around the ankle is nice, but make sure your socks are tall enough to prevent rubbing. I love the knitted upper. Overall, these provide a great running experience.. different from but maybe not superior to the ghost. I wouldn't mind switching the two every other day.

I like the shoe except for the lacing. It is weird the way you have to thread them and I like round or oval laces which can't be used with these. Overall, pretty comfortable fit

Very comfortable! The back heel part takes a couple wears to break in. I wish there was a little more at h support but overall love them!

My feet are normal to almost-wide (though wide shoes are always too big for me). These shoes were just a little too snug at the widest part of my foot to be comfortable. Everything else about them felt amazing, though! I swapped these for the Ghost 13, and that fit was perfect!

I'm ordering my fifth pair of Brooks Levitate; they are the perfect neutral shoe. I'm 5'6", 132 lbs, 51 years old and run 20 miles per week. My shoe size is 7.5 and I wear an 8.5 in Levitate, but could probably wear an 8. My favorite fit is the Levitate 2 because I don't love the integrated tongue (takes longer to tuck in) or new collar (more fitted, some rubbing on Achilles) of the 3. I have a herniated disc/sciatica and it's uncomfortable spending extra time to situate the tongue of the 3, but I have no pain in my back or leg while running, so I'm willing to deal with the inconvenience. I wear Balega Hidden Comfort socks and have no break-in period with any of the Levitate models. I did have one pair of 2's that had the sole crack, but that was close to retirement, so it hasn't dissuaded me from purchasing more. The style/design is great as well, and I enjoy wearing my retired pairs casually and get lots of compliments. Thanks Brooks!

I like this shoe, I don't love this shoe. I have worn different models like Ghost that I preferred. It feels good when I'm at the gym but not as much for running.

I love all about the shoe except the back tends to rub uncomfortably on my Achilles. Otherwise, great shoe! I have bunions so the sock-like feel is very comfortable!

These aren't my favorite running shoes from Brooks. I found them a bit heavy and slightly uncomfortable for long runs. The cushion in the back is very high and sort of rubs my feet. They have improved a bit after breaking in. I still prefer Transcend or Adrenaline over Levitate.

I like the shoe. It feels good but seems a little heavy for a running shoe. Great support.

Great shoe except for the height of the back of the fit - immediate blister and raw spot even when just breaking them in (1 mile). Had to get out the mole skin and change shoes. Have not gone back to this shoe yet but will. Probably the twist I have in my gait on the left. Otherwise great.

Great look I'm two week in and I've got the most terrible blisters. Hoping they go away soon. The shoes are very comfortable other than that.

The shoes are comfortable and give great support. Downside is that the soles are slippery on wet surfaces, and I live in Seattle, so not great for me. They are more purple/lavender than expected.

I was a big fan of the levitate 2, and overall I like the shoe, however this version gives me terrible blisters on my heels

Love these shoes. They have great support and work will with various workouts. I am more partial to the Bedlam for running just because of the way it cradles the foot. These however feel better for impact.

Love levitates! I have wider, flat feet and these are so comfortable for me to wear to work. The back tends to rub a bit on my heel but it hasn't really given me too much trouble.

This is a great shoe. I've always had a hard time running and hated it. I'm so impressed with this shoe. I was able to run without pain. I went from a hard 1 mile to an easy 6 miles within a few days of wearing these shoes.
