I love these shoes and fit, but got cuts on back of my heels from the seam that ends at top against skin of heel. I first walked several miles in them to get used to them, but socks apparently rode down into shoe. Cuts occurred then and even got blood on seam. So I'm wearing Large waterproof bandaids under higher length socks when running. Hoping once scabs heal just socks will be enough. Like the "stretchy" fitting around ankle, but need to fix seam location against Achilles' tendon.

Super comfy after a few days getting used to where the heal hits the back of my foot. Could use slightly wider toe box too. Overall a good all day at work shoe though!

Can cause some Achilles irritation with the sock like top if not wearing high enough socks.

Overall really enjoy this shoe - great for running about 10mi/wk. Recommending that you will want to wear taller socks as the lip of the back heel does rub quite a bit that could lead to blisters. Wish the colors offered were brighter, less traditionally feminine-specific colors (Levitate 2's came in fun colors!).

This is my first pair of the 3s and isn’t as comfortable as the 2s. I have blisters on the back my ankles the first time I wore them and I’m hoping I just need to break them in since they’re brand new but overall, the style is great!

I had read reviews about the high back running on your ankle and it did. I just wore around the house and it bothered me. Too bad because cute shoes!

Okay, so i usually don't write reviews but, i had to include one for these shoes. I bought them even after some pretty mix matched reviews about the shoes. And yes they take a break in period especially for the back part of the shoe because it'll rub a bit and many gave up on them at that point, but after like a week of using them they are just great so I'd wait it out before giving up on these! my ankle and arch stopped hurting after I started using these and I do alot of cardio and HIIT training. they keep up.

I had no problem with the fit of this shoe. Very comfortable and I didn't have any discomfort during or after running in them. My first run in them was 8 miles long, with miles 2 through 6 run at 6:50/mile pace. The only reason I give these shoes 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a bit heavier than the Levitate 2.

I love Brooks for a running shoe and I do really like the way the shoe fits. It does run a smidge small. I usually wear a size 6 but I would've gotten a 6.5. However, I've had them about 2 months and they are starting to stretch a bit so they feel more comfortable.

Very, very springy! On my first time out I did a much longer run than normal because of the extra bounce. There is a bit more rubbing than I would prefer in one toe and the heel, but not enough to cause major issues. I'm going to try the Bedlams next to see if I can get almost this much spring with a little more security and support.

I love Levitate and they are my All-Time favorite shoes. I own 4 pairs of the Levitate 2. In Brooks, I have always been a size 8.5. I have long toes so its hard to find shoes that don't scrunch them and cause blisters when I run. In the Levitate 2 I can wear 2 pairs of socks and still have room. I ordered 8.5 in this style and right away it felt very tight and my toes felt too close to the edge. I decided to try them out with a thin pair of socks. After a couple of runs, they have stretched out a little bit. They only problem I have now, is it is tight on the top of my foot. They are ok when I run, but I definitely can't wear them all day.

Very cushioning. The most cushion I have found in a Brooks shoe. Love for longer runs.

These are my first pair of brooks Ns I used the show finder to get matched. They feel great and give a lot of cushion when running/walking on both road and trail. I can see why some have expressed concern over the tightness around the ankle, but I found with a higher sock it is a non-issue. Definitely sold on Brooks for all training footware going forward.

I love a lot of things about the Levitate 3's, snug, comfortable, and light. The Levitate 3's offer a good balance of cushion and firmness. However, I really don't like the heel. The fabric is much stiffer than it was in the Levitate 2's. I've put about 90 miles on the Levitate 3's and they are still chafing and digging into my heel which causes much discomfort especially on my long runs. Really love the feel and new design, but I wish they'd change the heel fabric back to what it was in the Levitate 2's which never rubbed like these do.

I like how responsive these are, and the top of the shoe is much more comfortable than my old Launch 6s, but there's not enough room in the toe box and no option to buy a wide shoe. If the fabric were any more restrictive, it wouldn't be wearable. I won't be buying another pair when these have too many miles on them.

Good shoe overall. I've had 2 pairs of levitate 2s and love them. The first couple times I wore them my Achilles rubbed and drew blood. I wore high socks for a couple times and now they are fine!

I like the fact the toe box is wider like the original Levitate. The comfort of the shoe is still there, which is awesome. I love the style but I do not like how sewn down the tongue of the shoe is. It's hard to adjust the laces and such if just a little more width is needed.

These running shoes gave nice cushioning, as expected from Brooks. They are a little on the heavy side, and the back hugs the Achilles a little too much. Not my favorite running shoe.

I love the overall fit and comfort (I had the Levitate 2 and LOVED them), but the back on these comes up too high and rubbed a blister on the backs of my heel. I will just wear higher socks but they are not as good as my old ones:(

The sock fit cut my ankles on the first two runs. After letting them heal, I'm having some luck with taller socks. I hope my ankles will condition to the shoe. Otherwise, I really like them- great bounce, good fit, no foot fatigue. I'm still hopeful they will work out.

Squeaky, I've been wearing the shoes for over a month and they squeak all the time. Also, the material on the inside of the shoe around my ankle is starting to pill wear out already.

I ended up returning these shoes. If you aren't wearing proper running socks, the back of the shoe comes up just high enough and is angled just right that it digs into the back of my ankle. I read reviews ahead of time and saw a lot of people had this issue, so I should have suspected I would too. Just taking these for a 30 minute walk around my neighborhood had me bleeding on both ankles. The rest of the shoe seems like a great design and was recommended to me by my physical therapist for a good supportive running shoe (as I have knee issues), so i'm not thrilled I couldn't even give that a test drive.

I love brooks and have a several different styles. The top of the levitate 3 is tight and you are unable to loosen it all the way bc it is attached. Causes foot pain after wearing them very long. I do not have thick feet either. Levitate 2 was more comfortable.

The heel rubs terribly no matter what I do or what socks I wear. It leaves blisters every time.

Loved the propulsion but the heel rubbed and caused blisters. Tried thicker, taller socks but my heel moved around too much. Real bummer because I liked everything else about these. I returned the shoes and the process was extremely simple, and no cost to me.
