Great shoes. They are comfortable and very functional. I’ve worn them every day since receiving. I love the color and fit.

I bought a 7.5 so that my orthotics would be sure to fit in. They do, but I don’t really need them. The boots have a nicely cushioned sole and enough arch support for me even without my orthotics. They are roomy in the toe box for my bunions and felt very comfortable out of the box. I put on thicker socks in order to prevent some minor scraping against my ankle bone when my foot slides up and down while walking. I don’t think this will be a problem. The espresso is a really nice dark brown. I chose these over Blundstone and Thursday boots. I chose them for their waterproof feature. I hope they will be good for rainy weather.

I really like these boots! Merrill does not disappoint. Fit is good. Just wish they were a little more cushiony, like Uggs. Still they were what I was looking for in a winter walking boot ; for longer walks I’ll just wear heavier socks.

Fit and size for me was perfect with thick sox. I have a narrow heal, so with thin sox the shoe is a little loose. I use orthotics, and this shoe works great with them. Recommended by a friend.

I have only worn them out once but they look and feel great! The removable insoles make them possible for me to customize the shoe for my foot. (I rarely buy shoes that don't have them.) The buckle and zipper zap the look of the bootie a tad and I am so glad that I got the Andover Bluff. I have always had good luck with Merrell's fit and durability. Not only can these booties go out to dinner, they can do some light hiking. After a long process of ordering and returning booties, I bought these and a pair of Eccos. Thank you Zappos. I could not find what I needed without you.

I disagree with others and think this boot runs large. I wear a 10-1/2 shoe so that’s what I ordered but had to exchange for a 10. Which fit just right.

I was so excited to see that Merrell released a boot just like the old Captiva, and in an ankle boot!! I ordered these in a 9, I am normally a 9.5, but I knew from previous that these run a tad large. I did like the insole from the Captiva better it had a little more give. The insole in the Andover is really hard, almost too much arch support. I have orthotics, which for in perfectly or I can put my old Captiva insoles in them.

These are very comfortable, but was looking for something not quite as casual. THey probably are true to size because I usually order a size 8 and these were 7.5 and a half size too small.

I'm thrilled that Merrell finally brought back a boot similar to the old Captiva and Tetra. I tried the short style they put out last year, and it was awful, but these are awesome. The foot bed is very comfortable and just roomy enough, and I was able to wear these right out of the box. The buckle is very cute, and the height is just right with skinny jeans. I ordered the brown, and they are a nice dark only with a smoother leather that would look a little more refined or dressy. I am very thankful that I found these boots, and I will be ordering them in the black as well.

Merrell at his best! I have continuously five star experience with company and this pair is not an exception. Very flexible, very comfortable and I trust will be also waterproof- what's more for grey, depressing, cold weather...
