Customer Reviews Merrell Andover Bluff Waterproof

I wanted the Andover Bluff to replace my earlier version of this boot that I had and loved for at least 7 winters. My foot has a high arch and instep and the Andover won't go on my foot. Please realize this boot only fits a percentage of women's feet. Many reviews say the same things that I mentioned about the impossible fit. I'm a loyal customer.

I bought the black last Fall and the Brown this fall. Yes were slippery and yes a bit hard to get on, but were waterproof and relatively comfortable after the break in period. Now not so much! The right boot on both pair feels like there is a bar under my right heel toward the arch and my foot is tender and feel bruised. I stopped wearing for about a month to see if it was truly them. Put each on this weekend (black on Friday and Brown on Saturday). Back to a sore foot! So disappointed! Originally bought to go on a (pandemic cancelled) trip to Scotland. Now in the donation bin and have a very sore right foot.

This boot looked exactly as expected from the website, but I couldn't even get it on my foot to try it on! I'm not sure how others have managed. I love the several pairs of taller Merrell boots that I have, and am disappointed that I couldn't even try these on.
