I bought these boots a couple of weeks ago and had high hopes. Unfortunately, they are way too small in size and width. Complete disaster. I am wearing size 11 M in all my boots and these boots are so uncomfortable I cannot keep them on my feet for a few minutes.:(

I had been eying these boots for months. When they went on sale, I jumped at the chance. But, as other reviewers mentioned, the design with the short zipper means it is very difficult to get your foot inside the boot. I was afraid that I'd be mashing down the back of the boot every time I tried to put it on. I'm sad but back they go.

I got these for my wife, for xmas. This is the 3rd pair of this boot my wife has tried (in different sizes). We both love Merrell shoes (I am wearing a pair now) but these just don't fit. She started with her normal Merrell boot size but they were way too big. This last pair is close but her heal still lifts too much on one side and the other just hurts her feet She really wanted to like these boots. Other than fitment, the design is perfect. After the 3rd pair she thought she would just tough it out, but they just did not fit right and that was that. . It is tough buying shoes on-line. I can't wait until we feel safe enough to go back to the stores.

Though the boot is waterproof, the soles easily slip on wet pavement.

I've worn these quite a few times now and they are just still so so slippery. They are super cute; but as expensive as they are, a boot made to be waterproof and have "anti-slip" soles, shouldn't be so slippery. Every time I got any wet surface I'm afraid I'm gonna fall. Got really bad blisters after wearing them for the first time, so wear longer socks with them. Arch support aren't the best so I tried to put inserts in them, but made the boot too tight.

Loved the look of the boot. Just couldn't get my foot in it. The opening was too narrow for my foot & ankle.

The Captiva boots of ~2015-17 were my most favorite boots of all time. I love the footbed and can walk unlimited miles in them (well until they break down - which takes a long time). I was excited to see the same footbed return this year and had a real need for a short bootie. I tried them on around the house with short socks and immediately felt the back of the boot rubbing against my heel. Within 20 minutes my heel was raw. No way i could survive wearing this all day, let alone going for a 5-10 mile walk in them (which is what i demand of my shoes). I had to send them back.

I couldn't get them on because they were too stiff and the opening was too narrow to put them on. They looked nice and appeared to be well made.

Cute boot, very comfortable, BUT IT IS NOT WATERPROOF. NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST. Water seeps in from a step in a small puddle. Walking on wet streets from snow melt or after a rain or walking on wet or slightly wet ground = wet feet and socks. Please note that this boot IS NOT WATERPROOF.

I found these in my closet from sometime last year I was so excited. I have a very high arch and I tried to get the boot on it was almost impossible to get it on my foot so I didn't want to fight with it every day. Looking for friends with lower arches who can use
