I have had a couple pair of these for years and they have held up very well. The only disappointing feature on the new ones I ordered, is no give in the waist. My others had more stretch to the overall product, which I am missing on these, especially in the waist. I have ordered 3 new pair for this summer; I hope they do as well as my old ones.

I love everything about these shorts, except for the pack pocket. They are perfect for the heat. They are super comfortable. They have a great length. I hate the back pocket. They back pocket is always bunching up and take away from the smooth look of the material.

I really loved the fabric on this product. I live in Florida with a humid climate and it does fantastic to cool me down with the heat here. If I could design the shorts differently I would use a different fabric for the pockets. The pockets have really annoyed me since you have to fix them to make them look good. I would also have the pockets be outside pockets on the behind. I personally think it would look better. Or at least have shorts with that option. The current pocket on the behind looks funny when you pull something out of your pocket because the mess sticks together. I have to pull it out and then put my hand back in the pocket to fix it. I think its annoying. I would also like two pockets in the pack not just one. My only other suggestion is having one more option for shorts. Shorts that go just above the knees. Otherwise I really like the product. Thanks!

I am 5’7”, 138 lbs, and the size 6 fit perfectly.

They look funny on me but they are good quality just not a style that looks good on me.

I purchased these to do yard work and light gardening. They are very comfortable and extremely light. Great beige color, as well.

These are a pair of the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. I don't often wear shorts, but these I have no hesitation. Comfy, cool, and attractive for its purpose.

I prefer longer shorts for hiking, and these fit the bill. The material is incredible comfortable and light my favorite aspect of these shorts. I'm not a fan of draw strings, but I can see the benefit in these, since it truly makes the size customizable. I got the light gray and they were really nice. I liked the shorts so much I promptly ordered a second pair in the green Pond color. :-)

Love these shorts. As an older adult, I'm not into baring a lot of leg. These shorts have good coverage and are very comfortable. I find them great for travel.

I am 61 and like the longer length. Fabric is lightweight and has some give. I'm 5'4" and 128 lbs. , size 6 was just right. If you want a short that you can carry your phone, keys or other items in pockets, you may want a heavier short. I took advantage of great sale price so I have 4 pairs now!

These shorts are very comfortable and lightweight. They are more of a casual work-around-the-house short than something I would wear out, but they are lightweight and seem to repel dirt. I'm not sure how they would hold up to outdoor activities as they are thin, but they are comfortable and I think perfect for casual easy days.

I love these shorts they fit well and are lightweight and comfortable. I would recommend them for travel or just around the house you can dress them up if you need to!!

I liked these very much, I love the material, but they just didn't look good on me, a bit baggy in the butt. Not the short's fault, ha! I wish they would have fit! I'm trying some knickers now!

I love the longer length of these shorts. They are super stretchy and comfortable and also double as great maternity pants (the last trimester I did have to buy a bigger size since I did gain 35 lbs) but between both sizes these were my go to summer pregnancy shorts! My normal sized ones I have had for a couple years now and love them as well.... but I do like the fixed waist of the Saturday Trail II shorts better when not pregnant since I do feel like I have to pull these up more and re tighten them.....also I like that the Saturday Trail styles have 2 back pockets and a small stash pocket on the thigh. But overall nice lightweight shorts

These shorts are great and very comfortable. I like the snap button closure. I just wish it had a bit more sturdy elastic like some other Columbia pants I have. Then it wouldn't need the string tie in the front. Other than that, Lots of pocks and great for all occasions!

Slightly snug, but a comfy waist. Nice length for this older hiker. Could use a cargo pocket.

I have quite a few pairs of these long shorts. They are a very flattering, true to size fit. Only problem I have is the fabric, as it ages becomes very piled.

These run quite large. Order down a size from what you normally wear. I had ordered an 8 and had to return it for a 6. The stretch in the fabric is good since the leg length is long and the legs are more form fitting. If you have larger thighs these may be snug on you. The fabric is nice, hopefully it will not pill. I purchased them for travel--light weight, quick drying nylon and hopefully non wrinkling.

I keep reaching for these every time I need pair of shorts: running errands, going to the gym, working in the yard. Super comfy, perhaps a tiny bit big for a size 12. I plan to order a size down and compare.

I originally purchased the grey ones of this style but in an 8. I am glad for the drawstring because I can make them fit, even though the 8 is too big. I purchased these in a 6 and they are perfect. The length is fantastic, just what I was looking for. Just like in my review of the Take Me Anywhere shorts, this fabric is lightweight yet sturdy and moves well. And just like with those shorts, my only problem with these is that there is only one small pocket in the back and the side pockets are shallow so my chapstick is always falling out which is a problem but I just carry it in my back pocket or in a purse.

5'-4" 180lbs size 16, waist was smaller then other size 16 shorts that inhave gotten from Colombia.

These would be perfect if they had side pockets. WHY can't Columbia get it? POCKETS!! Because of the lack of pockets I did not buy one in every color like I wanted to.

Sizing seems different. I've purchased these before. The size 14 now seems smaller

Love the shorts, love the fit. My issue is that the pockets are not deep enough to securely put my phone in the pocket (and I do not have a very large phone). Why aren't the pockets deeper? The Saturday Trail II Knee Pant are the perfect depth (and even another half inch would be good). Unfortunately, I have to return them due to this design flaw.
