Bought these gaiters for a trip to India, i must say they live up to their reputation. Kept my feet dry during stream crossings, decreased wear on boot laces/pants while bush whacking made this must have for my next trip! Solid product OR!

Bushwhacking, snow shoeing, crossing shallow streams, mud trails, and anything else I have thrown at these. Crocs are the beast of boot gaiters! Everyone in my SAR unit starts off with some other brand of gaiters but it only takes a few outings before they switch to crocs. That's how good they are.

I wear these in conjunction with bunny boots along with several other people here. Been down to -72F in them. And -50 for weeks. Going on 8 years on one set now. Still going strong. They will probibly outlast the boots. OR makes the best gators hands down, with the best warranty.

These are my first pair of gaiters, and have been through five months of hard hiking and bushwhacking through thorns, fallen trees, mud and water; yet my clothes and boots are always dry underneath when I take the gaiters off. After a quick wash they still look new. They were highly recommended by our SAR folks, and haven't disappointed.

I bought these for my son who needs to be in the snow-filled woods for his maple syrup business. He wears a size 14 shoe and was concerned that these might be too small. Not so. As other reviewers noted (and why I bought them) they run a bit large and fit him perfectly. He's happy. I'm happy.

I wear these gaiters all winter providing there is snow. They are dependable and durable, easy to take on and off and work well with all sorts of footgear. I have had my pair for a couple of years. The price seemed high but as long as they last it is worth it.

Gaiters are a great way to winterize your boots and Outdoor Research has a winner, water proof and easy on and off. Durable but lightweight reinforced where it needs to be. Thanks LL Bean another great product.

I've had the same pair since 1993, and they show almost no signs of wear. I've worn them from Alaska to the Peruvian Andes, the AT to Fiordland in New Zealand, Ice, Mud, Snow, and all the rest you can think of being thrown into. I always pick these, unless I'm going to the desert in the summer, and they always perform outstandingly.

I no longer go hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing or moutaineering without my OR Crocodiles. These keep my ankles and feet dry in a multitude of conditions. From heavy rainy days in the Columbia river gorge to icy and snowy alpine adventures in the cascade mountains the OR Crocodiles are a "must-have" item for the hardcore outdoor enthusiest. Mud, rain, snow...bring it on...these gaitors will get you there dry. Climb on~

I bought these gaiters for my husband, as I have a pair of Outdoor Research Crocodile Gaiters that I bought 20 years ago... and they are still going strong. This "new" version has even nicer features than my old ones, including an extra tab at the bottom to keep the gaiters closed and improved material for the under-boot strap. Hands down, these have been and continue to be the best value and design in gaiters on the market.

I wear a 13 XXW Matterhorn boots, 6 feet 2 inches tall, and the XL fit perfect. Very nice quality product.

I bought my first pair nearly twenty years ago when i was doing deliveries and got tired of wet feet and pants. I loved them. They became a part of my daily winter wear from then on. Great product. When they finally wore out after almost 20 winters of daily use i was ready to by a new pair. I contacted OR to get a new pair and they informed me of there infinite warranty and shipped me a new pair that day before i even returned my old one. What customer service. I could not be more pleased with the product and the company. I recommend them now to all my friends in the tree cutting industry.

Great Product I wore these Gaiters all week on and off of horses and across streams up and down hills in the snow and mud. I would not take a back country trip without these Crocs with me. A must for the outdoor person.

Looking for a Premium made gaiter for hunting out west in the high country for, mule deer , elk, bear. I think I found what I was looking for at L L Bean. The make up and design is excellent. Quality is superb and also made with gortex. Fit well and made to last. I have had gaiters before but not with this much quality built into the product. Excellent Thanks L L Bean

These gaiters were for my son, who is delighted with them---so much so, that I am ordering a pair for myself!

This product is very well made and is very high in quaility. They keep me both dry and that means being warm in the cold and wet. They are the best gaiter I have found.

I bought these gaiters for my husband. He's in the National Guard, and wanted to be able to hike to keep in shape in all weather. He has some HUGE white winter boots the Guard issued to him, and I never thought these gaiters would fit around those, but they do! We were impressed with the quality of the construction, and he was especially impressed with the quality of the rubber strap underneath, and that it fit around his big boots. We also liked that the rubber strap could be replaced if needed, althought it seems really sturdy. The gaiters are very nice looking. Very pleased with the quality. Highly recommend!

I got my first pair 13 yrs ago, and have worn them out !! Second pair..no brainer...they were the best, and now have improvements that should make them last longer.

I am a Boy Scout Leader/Mom & had an all day scouter outdoor winter snow event. We marched through 1-1/2 ft snow all day long. Happy to report no snow in these boots or pants! I had not realized until I took these off @ the end of the day how warm they kept my legs- like having knee socks on but far better. I have in the past enjoyed them for skiing & hiking as well with an appreciation. The Velcro design is far better than the pull on ones I had as a kid. I love this low profile buckle to adjust the top of the gaiter. I highly recommend these. Yes, I have a Men's small O.R. gaiter I purchased @ one of the Bean outlets for an awesome price!

Good design. Easy on, easy off, and adjustable at boot for various boots. Handles everything from hiking boots to x-c ski boots.

Great pair of gaiters, would recommend them to anyone. Worked as advertised, tested them in 10" of snow and had no problems. They are a little tricky getting them on the first time.

I have been looking for gaiter's for awhile, and was very happy to see that LLBean had the OR crocodile's. They are great - I use them for cross country skiing on our farm. Velcro closure makes them easy to put on. The shipping was free. Thanks for a good product.

They're terrific looking and do an awesome job at keeping debris out of your boots--except when it comes to snow. As you walk, the snow is actually pushed up between the gaiter and the side of the boots. This is because there is no elastic band around the base of the gaiter. Because of that, this model relies on perfect fit to keep out snow. But, they're excellent gaiters for protecting your lower pant leg from rips when in a thick brush (which is how I use them).
