Excellent material and construction. My use was for a size men's 11 LL Bean boot and the Crocs I tried were an XL,L and M. I returned all of them. I determined these are designed more for a bigger boot than a bean type boots as the bottom "bell" is way too big. They slid way too far down and the front lace clip was too far in front of the clip to serve any purpose. I am going to try the Rocky Mtn. High ones. LL Bean provided great CS through this process.

The Velcro ears on the bottom of the gaiters completely fell apart and separated from the cloth where the lace clip is. Over all they work well as gaiters but was not pleased about the Velcro falling apart.

I used this product for hunting in wet conditions in rocky and rugged terrain. Great feel, but the buckling system is chinsy and needs something different there to be more durable. They broke on my second time wearing them. Full warranty and refund, but surely an unfortunate pain.

In taking consideration of my boot size (10) I went with a Large and still had a difficult time wrapping them around my legs. Some suggestion as to sizing one's lower leg as to upper boot dimensions and apparel typically worn would be more helpful. The gaiters also had the discomfort liken to wearing two stove pipes. Their ruggedly stiff construction could stop a rattlesnake bite or stray bullet. Very disappointed.

The actual Gore-Tex fabric is great and will last forever. However, having owned several pairs of these now, the stitching that holds the straps was first to blow out after several uses on the first two pairs. They have updated that, but now after only two uses 5-6 hours, the little loop that you put the end of the strap through is about 25% of the way frayed through and looks like it will blow out in the next couple uses. With having to pay return shipping each time on any warranty work, I would have hope to get much more than a few uses. With shipping costs adding up on warranties, I will be looking at something new.

Very good quality materials used, but lacks in the construction. Due to their construction, the gaiter never fits perfectly to the natural arching on the inside of the foot and boot. This is a big drawback since snow gets pushed upwards and after a while reaches the neck of the boots and your feet. Tightening up the strap does not solve the problem.

There are no size charts online for the crocodile gaiter series.

Buckle broke on me the second time out while snowshoeing. Had a horrible time walking back with snow falling down the boot since I couldn't wear one side. OR wouldn't warranty them, only give me credit, which I don't feel lives up to their Infinite Guarantee. Hopefully this next pair will be better, but of the 3 products I have owned from OR, all three have failed within a year so I don't have high hopes.

2 days into a 7 day mountain hunt, the buckles broke. I am still waiting to see if I get a response. It has been 3 days since I emailed them with the issue.........Not what you call a great first experience!

The buckle broke on the left gator the first day of use. Brand new gators should not do this. It appears the gator has had some changes made to them and they do not perform like they use to.

Like others have experienced, prongs on both gaiters broke on first use. Very poor quality.

Both buckles snapped off on my first day with these gaiters. Nothing out of the ordinary, a usual day on the trail with some snow and rock while ascending & descending a slope and I noticed the gaiter strap hanging loose on one side. The metal piece that inserts into the holes for a snug fit had broken right off. I checked the other side...same deal. Made the gaiters instantly useless. You would think that this piece would be more strong! Super disappointed as the rest of the gaiter seems ideal and good quality material/design.

Broke the first time I used them.

Purchased these last week specifically for a rugged and wet trip. On day 2 the one gaitor started riding up, and much to my frustration and surprise, I realized that the prong of the buckle had completely sheared off. Luckily I was able to fashion a make shift fastener out of shoelace that held in place for the remainder of the trip. Was looking forward to taking these on many on trip, however I am very let down to see such a substnatial malfunction on day 2 of use.

Purchased these for a 10 day hunting trip, on day 5, the metal buckle on one of the gaiters completely broke off and rendered it completely useless. The function of the gaiters themselves are awesome. They didn't seem very rugged though.

DO NOT LIKR FIT SROUND MY BOOTS. DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH CIRCUMFERENCE TO FIT. VELCRO DOESN'T HOLD WHEN I TRY TO CLOSE AROUND BOOT. WILL BE RETURNING THEM
