I bought a pair of Carbon X several weeks ago. I have ran two races and numerous training runs. The thing I noticed was I was seeing faster pace times and have more running efficiency. Since running in these shoes, I have been getting faster and producing more personal records,

I was not signed up for the Portland, Oregon Rebel Mt Hood 1/2 marathon since I had foot surgery a few months before. Signed up on a whim and needed some running shoes. Bought the blue version of these shoes at recommendation of vendor in the Expo. On the morning of the 1/2 marathon, I put these on and ran the ful half! I added a Dr Scholl's Plantar Faciatis sole just in case I had any pain from surgery! Well, Felt like I was running in slippers! Great, light shoe, so very comfortable the only thing I worried about was finishing the race...which I did with a great time!

I train and do my longer runs in the Clifton and have for years..I bought the Carbon X to use at the Honu 70.3, where the run is partially on mushy grass through the golf course. These shoes were super light, super responsive, my feet stayed cool (loved the light color and all over mesh)..they were perfect for this race!!

This shoes is so comfy! Recently used it in a marathon and it was the best shoe for it. I usually get blisters around the same area when running long distances, with this pair there were no blisters in sight!

I have no issues with my Hoka's. I wear them daily and I have talked my Mom and many friends to start wearing them!

A great road racing option! Tested these out in a local 5k this weekend and really enjoyed how they performed. Light, fast, comfortable and very responsive for faster running.

My new Carbon X shoes will be put to the test in February for the Disney Princess Half Marathon as well as the 5 and 10K. So far they train like a beast.

Love the fit, has a good size toe box, light as a feather, and a game changer for me! I have issues with pain in the ball of my foot (Pre-Plantar Plate Syndrome) & these Carbon X shoes alleviate the pain and propel me forward and faster! I would like to see them made in more colors!

I'm a Clayton and Mach 2 runner and this just smashed both. The most comfortable and responsive shoe I've ever worn from Hoka. Super comfortable and I definitely felt my turnover was faster with the rocking. It has the forefoot like the Clayton which is nice for us normal and not narrow feet. Overall, I love this shoe and can't wait to race in them.

I bought these with a flat, "fast" 100 mile race in mind. First run (8 miles), shoes felt weird (meta rocker), but I ran faster than usual effortlessly.Felt fantastic. Subsequent runs, including two 20 milers (on trails), led to some foot pain, a touch of knee pain, and some Achilles tenderness. I don't think they're going to work for my upcoming 100 miler. I think they're good for shorter road days, but longer trail days, nope.

I loved the design and idea of this shoe. I was looking for a new running shoe that made my running softer but the shoe was just a little too light for me. Probably great for someone with less leg issues than me!!

While I have only wore them once I feel as if I am leaping off the ground. They are a bit wide in the toe box.

So far, I think these are just "good." I put them on for a ten-mile run and quickly forgot I had new shoes on, so they're not creating any hot spots or discomfort but neither are they a revelation if that makes sense. They're not making me feel faster or as though I have better recovery. The Hoka sizing feels very unclear to me coming from New Balance and Nike, where I'm a pretty consistent 5.5. In both Carbon X and Mach 4, I'm still unsure of whether I'd best wear a 5 or 5.5, with the former feeling a little smaller than other brands' 5.5s and the latter feeling wider and longer. I went with the 5.5 per customer support's suggestion, and it feels a little long, but I'm not tripping over the toes thus far.

Very nice shoes, got a lot of compliments ( color Nimbus. Cloud Lantana)I working at hospital 40 hours per week, were worn out quickly, holes on the inner side of the heel appeared within 4-5 months. but I love them. I ordered 2 more pairs before they were discontinued. Thank you Hoka Costomer Service for helping and discount!!!;)

I bought these for work because I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day (I'm an RN). These shoes are so comfortable, I no longer get cramps in the arch of my feet and no more aching throbbing feet at the end of my day.
