Not as great as I thought they would be. I purchased two pair of these, one for 150 and the other for 180, and both hair are not as comfortable as I thought they would be, I think I like my Brooks better. My nursing coworkers went crazy over these shoes, so I thought they would be like perfect for 12 hour shift, and honestly my feet hurt after like 30 minutes. Maybe other people have a better experience than I did.

Oakus have been good to my feet! These particular ones are comfortable but my feet start aching after I've walked a couple miles I don't know why they are more for runners and walkers

These are beautiful sneakers, I like the color combination. However, they are so difficult to put on! I've not run across this problem before, it is my reason for returning them.

The shoes were worn. I did not try them on. I would not be able to tell if the sneakers are good or bad as someone else had broke them in. I returned them. I won't reorder this sale shoe.

These definitely run narrow. I have an average foot and these really just fit. Not much room. The pair I received had been worn. 2nd time I’ve had to return used “new” shoes to Zappos.

I have been running in Hokas for years--bondis...elevons...this is my 2nd try for the Carbon X and it is still a no-go. If the forefoot is pinching my little toes sitting here on my couch typing this, there is absolutely no way I'm getting out on the road to run in these. So disappointed!!! Please, Hoka, on the next version, put your normal, roomy toe box on these!

I used them for long runs training for a marathon. Using these shoes resulted in hip pain which now prohibit me from running. I have a friend who experienced the same issue from this model

I'm 5'7"/122 lbs.; midfoot striker, experienced female trail runner. Loved these at first (although they were too wide and high volume). The rocker action was propulsive and my knees benefited from the shock absorption: they apparently did what they were advertised to do. However wearing these every other day for 2 months caused the midsole under the balls of my feet to compress and collapse. Lost the rocker motion entirely. The thick heel mass seems pretty useless. At first: 5 stars. Now: 1 star. Seriously, for the price these ought to last longer.

They were great for the first two weeks (I walk about 45-50 miles a week for my job. The second week, I could feel my step was out of alignment and by the fourth week, I brought another pair of shoes with me to switch out, with them. I would not buy these again.

Personally, I absolutely HATED the Carbon X shoes! They were recommended to me by my podiatrist. I have inflammation of my tendons which makes it painful and difficult to walk at times. I should say I am a walker, NOT a runner! I know these shoes are made for runners. I absolutely noticed the rocking motion from the start. They may work great for runners and make a big difference, but from a walker's perspective, I do NOT recommend these shoes!

No support, especially around the ankle. All the Hoka shoes I have tried give no support. Not very cushioned on the Inside. Also a trait with other Hoka styles I have tried. Done with trying Hoka.
