I've been a big fan of Speed Crosses for the past 6 years and it's the only shoe I've ever repurchase multiple times.

First, let me say Salomon is a company that stands behind their products. After about 7 pairs of SC 4 over the last 10 years, I moved up to SC 5 and I am very pleased with the shoe. Well made, comfortable and rugged as heck. I can't see myself going anywhere else for a high quality trail running shoe.

These are perfect for the snowy winter conditions in Northern Michigan where I run. I have been able to extend my outdoor running season now that I have shoes that dig well into the snow and keep my feet dry.

This isnt just a shoe, it changes the way you look at the world, extremely comfortable, they just get better with time

Purchased 1/2 size larger for heavy wool socks. Fit is comfortable & trail footing is great

I took these on two different trails in Hawai'i After it had rained for three days straight. Both trails had anywhere from 3-4in of mud. I never lost grip with my shoes and my socks were dry as a bone. Great shoe! Couldn't recommend it more!

I bought these for the wet weather to train police dogs and still be able to keep my footing and keep my feet dry! First use was Buffalo, NY snowy field that turned to mud the next day and my feet stayed dry through it all.

I bought my shoes 1 month ago and I just love them. They're wicked comfortable, great for hiking, trail running and overall casual walking. I don't want to wear any other shoe. Great design Salomon!!!

The minute I tried these on, I was in heaven. The previous Speedcross and I had grown apart due to either my foot getting wider or the shoes narrowing a bit - or maybe both. Well the 5 is AMAZING. It's super comfortable, it doesn't slip off my heel and it has some nice cushion.

Wore them up to the adirondacks after/during snow. Didnt break them in and felt great on my feet for 11 miles. Waterproofing was even better than I expected, just going to buy gaiters in the future since they are low top and snow fell inside. Absolutely recommend for running/hiking in winter.

Grip, fit and look! Besides of that they are warm.
