My shoes lasted for under 4 months. Then the sole was so worn that there were holes.
My shoes are called wildcross 2, but they are no longer on the online store. But I see that people have the same problems with these.
This is my second couple with the same problem. The first time I got new shoes on warranty. But this time I was told it was user error. From the pictures, support could see that I had walked on the wrong surface .... I have never had shoes that have been worn so quickly. I do not recommend anyone to buy shoes that wear so fast.

The area where the toes bend tore on both sides of the shoes. I don't even think I got 150miles out of them before they started tearing. I've never been more disappointed in a pair of Salomons

I have owned at least 6 pairs of Salomon boots over the last 20 years, and have always been satisfied. This time I am not. They fit great as they always do, but this pair of Speedcross shoes are not worth it.
My inaugural outing with them was an a dewey morning round of disc golf. 20 minutes in, my feet were soaked. Not remotely waterproof. Subsequently, the shoes retained a stink ever since, regardless of drying methods.
The tread has been worn down significantly after 40-50 miles of walking in urban and wooded areas.
They are comfy, but the quality is seems to have gone down.

Been checking online everyday for months now and the shoe I want is not available. Even signed up to be notified when it's available and nothing. Ready to move on to a different company who can actually supply their products.

My trusty Speedcross 4 finally wore out so i purchased a pair of Speedcross 5. Ive been a long time fan of the speedcross range these being my 7th pair. The 5 however werent for me and got returned. The change in materials didnt seem to provide the same support.

SHAME ON YOU SOLOMON - Extremely hard to put on, pull tabs loosen immediately, and lugs on toe if shoe at wrong/bad angle. Good grip in ice and snow is the only positive. So, overall a total waste of money - last Solomon shoe I will ever buy.

Seal on top of shoe pulled apart after a week! Also on my GTD 4D boots have done the same thing and its like pulling teeth to get anyone from customer service to assist
Nonetheless,

Been using speed cross shoes for years. They changed the speed cross 5 and it is tighter over the instep. Wish they didn't do this. Do not pick these (or the wild cross and likely others) if you have a high instep.
