I have wore Salomon Speedcross shoes since there inception (i'm pretty sure that's over 10 years ago). I don't buy any other shoes for daily wear or trail running because they are the most comfortable shoe's i've ever worn straight out of the box. I like the gore-tex because I live in a wet cold environment but it takes about 2 months to break them in enough that my foot isn't so sweaty that it outweighs the benefit of the waterproofness. I will say i miss the silver strip that goes up an down on the side of the shoe, it definitely added to the style! This is the first time since you have made this shoe that the black with silver strip option wasn't available and i miss it.

Salomon Cross trains are simply the best on the market. This is my 6th pair but my first Goretex shoe. It is first class, ideal for running in the dirt tracks and hills here in the Scottish Borders. We have mud and water a plenty and the goretex water proofing keeps my feet dry and easy to clean.

This is a perfect go to show for running or hiking.

I bought a pair for my daughter and I, this is my 2nd pair and her first pair. We both absolutely love the comfort, protection nd support that they offer. The tread on them is very aggressive and really allows for good footing while hiking the steep mountains of Utah and are great is the soil is muddy so that we don't slip

I bought this Salomon shoe recently and so far I am impressed with it's quality. Very comfortable, quick lace up is convenient and great support and traction.

I bought these a month ago. The moment I put them on, I was in love! These shoes fit like a glove. Extremely comfortable and sturdy. Very well made.

I was unable to buy at a local retailer due to out of stock issues. I finally bought online once it was available. I love this shoe.

When running on Wisconsin's Ice Age Trail these shoes are my go-to. In a 5-10 mile run you will likely encounter muddy/wet conditions somewhere. If not or even when the trail gets rocky or dry, they still do a great job. These shoes really show their worth during the wet fall, winter and wet spring where gore-tex and soft conditions call for this exact shoe. For me the 5s fit my foot so much better than the 4s.

I bought these to replace my Speed Cross 4's and they're perfect! Started wearing Speed Cross for trail running and they were just so comfortable I got another pair for just kicking around. Love the Goretex for dewy, rainy, slushy or snowy days. The shoes are quick to get on and off and the colour choices are great ( keep the wild colours coming). True to size and long wearing. Tread could last a little longer, that's my fault, but otherwise perfect!

Ich entschied mich nach den Bewertungen und habe meinen Entschluss nie bereut. ich trage normal die Gre 43 und bestellte eine Nummer Grer. Der Schu sitzt perfekt, ist sehr leicht und praktisch kaum zu sphren. Die Gewichtsangabe mit ca. 350g stimmt. Fr harten Untergrund ist er eher nicht geeignet und wohl auch nicht konzipiert. Er ist halt ein Crosslaufschuh. Fr weichen Untergrund im Wald und an Anstiegen luft er sich aber gut. besonders bei Abhngen bietet er einen absolut sicheren Halt. Die Verarbeitung ist insgesamt sehr gut, lediglich die Anpassung der Sohle sieht etwas "herangeschnitzt" aus. Dies ist aber nur ein geringer optischer Punkt. Die Lieferung erfolgte umgehend und vllig unproblematisch. Eine klare Kaufempehlung von meiner Seite!

For me the fit is just right, I have the right amount of room in the toe box and the heel holds snug. My feet don't slip around inside. The GTX works great keeping water out to a point but also holds it in which doesn't help on hot days when your feet sweat. I know they are more suited to winter running but I have a pair of the Fives but they feel too tight which ultimately makes my feet sweat more. The different material allows more room in the GTX. I like many runners have found a shoe that feels great whilst out and performs well.

Dachte am Anfang, der Schuh wre zu eng. Aber er sitzt top, fhle mich sicher und schnell im Trail.

Pour courir dans les sentiers c'est trs bien. Ne pas courir sur l'asphalte par contre !
