It's amazing how much of a difference it makes to wear a shoe appropriate to the anatomy of your foot. I have flat feet, I don't know if they are considered extremely flat but it feels like they are to me. I cannot just buy any shoes... I work and stand on my feet all day. I used to buy the Brooks Adrenaline but they have changed the shoe so much it doesn't work for me anymore. I cannot wear a shoe that is not built for "overpronation" aka. flat feet. These are described for people with severe overpronation. And I can already tell they are helping me just wearing them for a few hours at work. The toe box is wide which is what my toes need to be comfortable. The width feels a little snug but I'm sure that will change as I break them in. I usually wear a 7.5 but I ordered an 8 due to other reviews. The laces are short but if you don't use all the holes at the end you can make them work. Google "runners loop" (even if your not a runner) to see how you can lace them at the end for a snug fit.

Shoes fit perfectly and are very comfortable.

I wear orthotics but I’ve also worn these shoes without my orthotics and they have great arch support. I love the navy blue color. I also ordered them in the white (not a true white). I’ve worn these before. Last year I had them too and liked them so much I bought them again. The toe box is nice and big. I have a wide foot and my toes really appreciate that width. Great support. I love these shoes. Great colors to choose from too.

Fits true-to-size. I have one pair of these already, and my husband offered to pay for another. They are THAT good! Extremely good support for the feet, great for long, vigorous walks and vigorous aerobics. Extremely well-made. AWESOME!

Nice looking shoe, but too tight for me. I was experimenting with a different width, since I'm now using orthotics. I went with the wider shoe instead. Also I found the laces too short, but the case when I previously bought them, it may be the orthotics or the different size.

I've worn (and loved) the New Balance 940 series for years and am sad that it's discontinued. I always have a backup pair of running/walking shoes still in the box for that moment when they're needed. I thought this might be a good 940 replacement, but both shoes are too wide in the heel and slip with each step. Luckily I only tested them in the house on the carpet!

The sole felt very stiff, not cushiony at all.

Good fit but wont really know until I walk some distance in them with my custom orthotics

My foot is narrow and it is very hard to find sneakers that fit. These are terrific. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I recommend them if you have a narrow foot

Needed a wider shoe. Otherwise was good.

The shoe laces are not long enough so I ordered replacements from Amazon. This is a disappointment for a shoe in this price range. I feel like the toe box is barely wide enough. A double wide might have been better but was not available. I settled on these shoes in desperation as I could find nothing else that fit and my old New Balance walking shoes were literally falling apart after years of wear.

I love the anti roll bar feature. Nice colors too! I love Zappos for their excellent customer service and choices!

The fit is fine however the insoles are now much thinner than before and are NOT as comfortable. The other difference I noticed is the tongue portion of the shoe is SHORTER in length and that is a problem because of the how the shoe ties set on the foot.

What's up with NB and the short shoe laces? I have to order longer ones from Amazon every time.

Shoe has good support and firm cushioning. It’s a little heavy and inflexible for running, but good for standing, lifting, and exercising.

Unfortunately I had to return because the toe box felt cramped. Would have been stable support, so I’m sad. Just not a fit for my foot.

This shoe is very rigid. I am a little surprised at the lack of cushion. I have worn the shoes three days and I am unsure if I can actually wear these.
