Customer Reviews New Balance 1540v3

I was so happy to find these. I am in need of a STURDY sneaker with a firm sole and a wide toe box. While many may like the softer, squishier feel I prefer a firmer fit with less of a "bounce." Now if I can find something similar in white!

I have had severe foot pain for several years. Went to doctors, told to go to ortho only to be told insurance does not pay for shoe inserts. I spent hundreds of dollars at speciality stores to fit me with inserts and special shoes and nothing helped. I was about to give up and I bought the 1540v3 shoes. I cannot believe the difference! I am now able to walk several miles and not be in pain. If you are having issues, try these shoes. They keep my feet more aligned with my ankles and it helps so much. I would give 10 stars if I could!

This is the second time I have purchased these shoes and I use them for long daily walks and really any time I'm going to on my feet for a while. IEven though I buy and need the wide width for the front of my foot, they also really hug and support my rather narrow heels. I just love them! The only reason I replaced my original pair after more than a year is that my big toes eventually created small holes in the top of the shoe- but I think that is a gait problem rather than an issue with the shoe!

I hope these are read by the company! I love these shoes which are recommended by my podiatrist. I need the 4E width to accommodate a very wide foot due to arthritis. They are so often out of stock in my size. Make more and make more colors, please!!

I use these shoes for everyday wear, and for walks and exercise. I prefer the shoes made in the USA.

I am flat footed and these pair of shoes helped me survive a 12 to 13 hr shift without giving me feet and leg pains. Cannot go wrong with New Balance's motion control shoes!
