This is the second time we've bought these shoes for out 97 year old mother. Supportive fit.

Good quality pair of sneakers, comfortable fit, great buy

Great for walkers and runners and anyone who has a lot of walking to do or is on their feet all day.

This shoes has good support and it also fits well.

All my life I have had foot problems and have had several toe surgeries. I have tried every orthotic under the sun, some very, very expensive. I have gone to foot doctors in California, Florida and Nevada and every one of them recommended New Balance shoes for comfort and support. They were right and this pair of 1540v3, shoes, has been added to my 929v3's and my several pairs of 990v's.

This shoe is the greatest stability shoe I have ever owned. I would definitely order these again. I wear them everyday and have owned at least three pairs over the years. Please continue to make this shoe!

I have feet that are very stiff and my ankles roll out. These are the only sneakers I have found that give my foot some sense of stability. I usually buy 2 pairs each year. I hope the company does not make any radical changes to this sneaker because this is the one sneaker that lasts me the longest.

I bought it for my special needs child who has orthotic inserts. I chose a size W for her and it turned out just perfect! She does not talk much but when she first put them on with her inserts she wouldn't take them off anymore. Then I knew she feels really comfortable in them. I just wish there are more color choices.

I buy this shoe every time. It fits And supports my feet very well even with my Orthotic inserted. My podiatrist recommended New balance and these 1540v3 is the best I've ever had!

I've been wearing versions of this shoe for many years, and was devastated when NB narrowed the toe box. It seems, for others of you who pronate, that the outside edge is now slightly wider again with this shoe. I wish NB would make it as wide as it was previously, but I'm pleased it's even slightly wider. I have bunions, overpronation, and arthritis, and this is the best shoe for me for comfort and support. I wear out the shoe in a few months and so buy a few of these a year. I wear them for workouts, walking, and work. I buy half a size up to allow room for my orthotics.

I have a Neuroma and these were recommended several years ago. They have been great shoes for my 3 mile walks every day. Because of the Neuroma I do get a size larger than what I wear for my everyday shoes.

i have alot of foot problems like bunions, plantar faciitis, flat feet and wide feet. i am a mail carrier and walk around all day delivering mail. i walk about 10 miles or more a day and these shoes are awesome. from day one they fit great and didn't need a break in period. i wore them all day at work and had no problems. my feet didn't ever hurt. i will definitely buy again. i only wish they came in all leather and no mesh for colder weather.

I require more stability and structure related to problems with my feet. This sneaker met all my need

A great walking shoe too that provides extra stability for good balance, high arches and pronating feet outward.

This is my fourth pair of these. I had toe surgery several years ago and plantar fasciitis and need a wide sneaker with a firm sole. With an orthotic, this works well . My regular size is 8.5 wide. In this I wear a 9.5 EE to accommodate the orthotic. Although walking will never be what it was these sneakers allow me to get around pretty well.

Like the rounded toe of the shoe& the fit is perfect. I have a very hard time finding shoes that feel good. Thanks New Balance!

As a person who needs a lot of arch support, these shoes are perfect. They have a roll bar on the inside and outside of the shoe that helps with stability. The toes are rounded and not overly elongated. The laces should be longer. They are fine for me but would likely be too short for some wearers. The shoes are pricey but well made and worth it.

Excellent shoe at a good price. Comfortable under all conditions: walking , standing, or jogging

The only shoe I wear is New Balance for years now! It has always been a perfect fit. I always thought that they were only made in the USA. However, since I was unable to get to the store, I ordered my last pair online, knowing that it would fit since it always has (not the case!). When I received them, I noticed that the toe box wasn't as roomy and comfortable as it has always been. Then I looked to discover that it was made in China!! I have ordered online this new pair and made specific note to make sure it was made in the USA. Don't know why you would even consider going outside the US. The few dollars more that I paid are well worth the comfort and exact fit that I need.

I bought these shoes after I had a knee replaced in FL. They are comfortable, great support. They were so good that I bought another pair to use at my NH house. Great purchase.
