The roll bar keeps me from pronating, the shoes are good looking and comfortable and I can wear them all day without tiring. The sad part is that I only have three of the near colors available!

These shoes have great motion control and stability.

Shoes fit well, good support, comfortable to walk in, nice cushioning. I have a high arch and arthritic toes and this shoe is very comfortable. Fits well according to sizing. I would buy it again .

I work 8 hours on a cement floor with flat, wide feet that overpronate. The pain in my feet, back and knees had me watching the clock every day. The 1540v3 paired with the casual comfort insert made a truly significant improvement to where I can enjoy work and not pray for the clock to tick faster so I can get off my feet. The rollbar provides a solid, stable foundation and the slight drop from the heel to the forefoot really helps keep the weight balanced from heel to toe and not constantly banging on my heels and back. The inserts are padded in the metatarsal area so those foot bones don't ache like they did before. Finally, the arch support is just right for a flat foot. My old inserts were too narrow and the plastic arch was poking up in the middle of my wide foot and just felt like a nuisance rather than a support. Now I can actually feel my weight kinda roll across that arch support from heel to tow. At the end of the day, I have no pain!!. That's huge for me because the pain was pretty bad before. I'm really glad I went to a New Balance store and just let the euipment tell me which model was right. I am very pleased that I now have the exact brand and model for ME!!

My orthopedic prescribed these for me and I have to say they give me the support I need. I have had surgery on both feet for collapsed arches and have to add prescribed inserts into these shoes which works very well! I have tried to find other shoes comparable with no luck so far. This is my third pair in as many years. I wear these almost everyday so it would be great to find a different style with the same construction for support. You will not be disappointed with these shoes!

After i had my stroke (July 2018) I was told to get a shoe from New Balance with a roll bar. I have had multiple pairs of shoes with the roll bar. I highly recommend the shoes with the roll bar!

This shoe I have wore since after I had my stroke (July 2018). These shoe's have been a God send for me. They have always been THEE shoe to have!!! I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who wears an AFO.

I love these sneakers. I use them for walking and light hiking. They help my plantar fasciitis. These are my 4th pair in this style and they are the best.

These shoes are my lifeline to comfortably wearing something on my feet. I have hammered toes and severe overpronation. Both conditions are remediated with these shoes. I wear them primarily indoors, everyday. I own a second pair (from an older model version) for outdoor use.

I Love my 1540v3!!! From the moment I first laced them up I was extremely comfortable. I don't want to wear any other shoes. The color is great and strangers are complimenting me on them. I have had 6 surgeries for pronation (post tibia tendon repair) in the last 17 years. I Only wear New Balance!! THANK YOU NEW BALANCE!!

I replaced the identical pair that I had one for about six months. I was thrilled to know you still carried the fit and style. I must have put on somewhere between 80O to 1000 miles. Just love them.

Recommended by my podiatrist for motion control. Comfortable shoe, but too expensive. Also, hard to find aside from your website.

I'm a 60 year old runner. I've been running since I was 17 and now have sore feet. These shoes give me the support I need and the comfort I love. These are high quality shoes I'll be running in for a while.

Had a screw put in my left foot. This shoe with the roll bar really keeps my foot from turning over.

The shoes are great, they are well constructed, have great support. My last pair are almost 2 years old and are still in great shape and I WEAR them! Made in USA is icing on the cake!

I do a lot of walking and these shoes are very comfortable. The arch support and thicker soles help me walk straighter and keep my feet drier.

This is the shoe my husband and I have been running in for years. It's changed numbers several times, but it's still a great shoe. My husband started wearing it to run when he got plantar fasciitis. He then recommended it to me. We do, however, use an insert called PowerStep to make it even more stable. I'm now 58 and my husband is 57 and we're still slogging (I mean jogging) along. If you have foot injuries, shoes matter! This is a GREAT shoe. I hope New Balance never does away with it.

I wear these for daily walks. They are comfortable. Only obstacle to overcome for me was they are heavier. To me it's worth it for the many widths this shoe comes in, and They are made in USA!
