This was my second ever expensive purchase on a pair of sneakers. Not only are they made in the U.S., but they're incredibly comfortable.

Love the shoe and glad they come in wide so I don't have to size up at all

Size and fit were exactly as expected.

Comfortable shoe. Especially like the grey color, doesn't get dirty as quickly as white does.

999v5 are the best shoes I have ever purchased from New Balance. I have two pair of these 990v5 in black instead of grey color. I prefer the black colored ones.

I have diabetes and flat feet. I work in a restaurant 10 to 12 hours everyday on my feet. My foot doctor recommended for me to go out and get these. I've NEVER spent this much on a pair of shoes in my life. I was very skeptical but once I tried them on at the store I was immediately impressed. I wore these everyday in a greasy concrete floor environment for well over a year before the shoe started coming apart. I ordered my second pair online off this site and received very quickly. I can't imagine wearing any other shoe again. Super pumped the black version was in stock finally because they are very sharp. Thanks!

decent shoe but way too much money for cheap quality.

I use the product for walking/jogging - Walking surfaces include treadmills, crushed gravel, woodland paths and concrete. I am no-longer able to use New Balance shoes for any court-type activities because New Balance 'dropped' my width, (3E). I able to walk/job with a 4E shoe but a 4E provides too much 'lateral movement' for non-linear activities. (New Balance widths include 2E and 4E).

Thankfully they fit pretty well as I had to get a size 11 extra wide rather than an 11 1/2 wide. Next time, I'll go to the store, on3rd Ave

The shoes are well made and quite comfortable. I hate products made in China.

I have two pair so tend to alternate them to wear every day. The fit is perfect since I have a narrow foot.

New Balance is the best

Beautiful shoes, comfortable too. Would have been five stars except for the price.

I have been buying this pair of NB for my husband for years. They say it is new style but fits the same. He wears a "B" Narrow & hard to find under different brands, but this is his favorite anyway.
