They are more comfortable than 992 , nice for long walking and still look great

I use these mostly for walking and for runs to the gym on heavy lift days. They're incredibly sturdy but for me a bit stiff for distance (I'm a Glycerin guy for distance running). These NB's make up a key part of my Higdon tri-training program which includes significant walking. These are superbly comfortable, very sturdy, and give great support. I'll recommend these and buy the V6 when these wear out (which'll be a lot longer than the Glycerins). Made in the USA quality and superb conditioning use as part of a total training program. Love these

Use my New Balance 990s every day. Love the fit and wide toe box. However, the cost of almost $200.00 a pair with shipping is getting prohibitive. Don't know if this will be my last pair as I will look for less expensive alternatives next time.

Great walking shoes for someone with wide feet.

Been looking for a good wide foot shoe for 2 years and finally found this! They are wide! Not super crazy about the reflective parts on it but none the less I love them and will be getting another pair when these wear out

These shoes are the only ones I have worn for years. I have always bought the 990's and have never received bad quality. Very comfortable as well.

The rigidity of the shoe is good for me, especially in the front of the sole (toe), and it has a fair amount of cushioning. But the heel area in particular I find to be unusually roomy, and I am wishing I had purchased a narrower size. Styling is fine.

Would have preferred the all black shoe

For me, the 990 series running shoes fit the best and are the most comfortable of all running shoes. Actually, I've been using NB shoes for workouts and races since 1962 when the ripple sole shoe came out. Then a series of models until the 990. I need the narrow width, which most brands do not offer.

The size 13 AAA shoes fit so well that my feet fell great when they are in them.

I really really wanted the triple blacks but these are nice enough . They fit better than the English NB but English got the flyest colors . I wish the USA had a better design team . Overall I'm satisfied by the color but not wowed .

I bought these for my everyday wear and workout walking. I absolutely love them and will continue to buy them. Made in the USA!

Exited to use this very nice comfy shoes

I have had three pairs of these shoes and every pair makes a squeaking noise, the noise is coming from the plastic material on the back of the shoe, the shoe is for stability, so if you are looking for cushioning this is not it, other than that they are very durable, but for the price they should not squeak, all the material besides the plastic seems to be made good.

Boating and onshore for walking and hiking ... great foot support. Easy to clean.

First pair great, lasted a year. Second pair, like a different shoe altogether. Very, very uncomfortable from the get go. Shoes also began to peel on the sides. No more for me.

This shoe is not flashy..no fancy neon colors.but it simply oozes quality..from the construction on the heels to the top you know your wearing a quality item!

These are the best NB shoes. I've used them for many years. They fit exactly and have a nice arch. I paid extra for 2-day shipping, but they took four days to arrive. I can't seem to find a support or business contact for NB.
