4th pair I've purchased in this line. All seem to last >4 years before showing deterioration, yet remain serviceable. like the 5 yr pair these are replacing.

Great shoes! Glad they are available in wide. These are my go to walking shoes and my replacement for long days at work to at least ease the pain towards the end. They are my second Made in US pair so hoping they last as long as my first pair.

Loved the v4 and the v5 is just as good! I just want them to release more colors

Good support for walking indoors at gym and outside though will be used mostly at local gym.

Walk 5-6 miles a day and this shoe is great. Gives good support and stability.

My 3 year old sneakers were getting worn out. Starting to get leg cramps at night. Decided on the 990v5s even though they are expensive. Glad i did they fit like a glove and right away made my legs feel better.

I have been wearing NB 990 series shoes for over a decade. They are consistent in their quality and how they fit. I have ordered these for over a decade and I have never had to send any shoes back because they always fit my feet.

They fit...unlike many other brands. Look good too.

I have spinal stenosis and these are the only athletic shoes that give me comfort and relief. These were my second pair of this model, For whatever its worth I ordered these in Navy blue and was sent this model in gray. No big deal.

I have freakish bear feet that are short and stubby, but very, very wide. So wide, in fact that there are few places that even sell any shoes in my size. New Balance not only sells shoes that are my size, but these, the 990s, are made in the USA. They are comfy and hard wearing- the v4 I am currently wearing I have had for a year and they still have a lot of life in them. I am getting a new pair just to have in reserve.

These sneakers are by far the worst pair of new balances I've ever purchased. I decided to splurge on them (I normally pay 80 or so a pair) The back of the sneakers are bent and can no longer wear them after 2 weeks of use. They also won't give me a refund. This is the last pair of new balances I will ever purchase. Terrible customer service.

The 990v5 shoes look great and feel great. I love them.

I am limited in choices having a 6E width and this shoe is extremely comfortable. Quality built athletic shoe. USA built a bonus.

My teenage son loves these sneakers. I purchased the all black for school and grey for summer.

I wear them for everyday use. The fit is good and they look great. The only issue is one seam slightly off need the toes on the left foot.

This is probably my 5th or 6th pair of 990s purchased over the years. I have relatively narrow feet, and the narrow width is a perfect fit. I keep my old pair for everyday wear, and the new ones strictly for working out. Love them!

Not sure what is wrong, but I wore these for a day, and my foot, that I had broken 13 years ago, felt like it had been rebroken. I can't return them because I did wear them outside. I have no idea what happened, because NB are the shoes I always buy. Just this style and my foot did not get along at all. Even my never-broken foot hurt by the end of the day. I am sure these are wonderful shoes. They just hurt me.

I specifically buy this excellent shoe from NB because it is made in the USA and not from the PRC where many of NBs competitors manufacture their shoes.

NB is the ONLY company that manufactures a 13AA men's shoe. I love them!

This running shoe has great support and is very comfortable. I have a wide foot, weigh about 225 lbs and the support I receive from these shoes are the best. I mainly use them for running and walking. They look great too.

Love the new rounded design, much more stylish and therefore I can wear it with a broader variety of outfits and occasions. And really helps reduce arthritis pain in my feet caused by my flat feet.
