shoes fit well, are very comfortable, and nice looking

Have worn NB shoes for some time. Fit is always spot on, construction solid, excellent support and great styling. Most NB shoes are on the pricey end but within reason. This shoe is all of the above but at nearly $180 its beyond reasonable. Unfortunately for me this is the only shoe I have found that provides the support that I need so buying it regardless of price.

I run lightly 6 mornings a week. If humidity too high, I just Walk & the V5 shoes are perfect for that also. Solid support & comfort. My compliments to your employee Carol or Carolyn, as she was un-available for this purchase but when I talk to her, I never have to return shoes, for bad fit & or I dislike them - - Carol is a true New Balance Professional. Thanks for having her on the staff.

I've worn these for years, and the significant upgrade of the soles has been amazing. I got nearly triple the miles of my previous pair, so I didn't think twice about buying these again.

I have two pairs of these shoes. The first I purchased in the New Balance store a few months ago to replace the special 993 USA shoes that I had bought several years ago. I recently bought the second identical pair at the online store.

I wear these to work and they are just fine. Only problem I have is that they are heavier than previous sneakers worn but I always bought sneakers that were 10oz. or less so I just need time to adjust. Overall a great fit and extremely comfortable!

These sneakers are gorgeous. AND they are made in the USA!! For once I found a pair of sneakers made here in the US. Very comfortable!!

Got the shoe in the special edition with the castlerock gray, more monochromatic and more leather than mesh. It's a great looking shoe and one that would be dressier going out for dressy casual, but it does not give nearly as much control of pronation compared to the New Balance 1540

Use as a walking shoe as past New Balance brand shoes designed for walking did not work out. These shoes are very comfortable and work well. I have used New Balance shoes similar to 990v5 for both walking and jogging and have been very satisfied.

I don't even remember when I began wearing these, but I've received a new pair every year for my birthday and they have always been fantastic. Without a doubt the most comfortable pair of shoes you'll ever wear. I've never even thought of wearing anything else, especially when you consider these are made in the USA by a company that stands for the flag.

Fits well and supports my foot and ankle very well.

Despite being their most expensive shoe of this type, it starts to fall apart after just a few days of normal wearing.

Well made and a great pairs of sneakers! Materials and like the colour very much!

Very disappointed with the 990 after wearing two weeks.

I have been getting versions of the New Balance 990 series shoe for some time. V5 does not disappoint. Comfortable, good support, good construction. Another winner in the series.
