The 990s have redefined my expectations for tennis shoes. These are incredibly comfortable and stylish, made in America, and still happen to be cheaper than most flagship Nikes. Can't say a bad thing about them.

Looks great, fits and feel great. I am very pleased with this shoe.

These shoes are great for bad knees and other foot problems. I never have issues with these shoes for walking.

I reorder these shoes 2x a year, they never go on sale, so dont wait. They are a classic item and timeless. Perfect for running, walking sports or just running around town. Cant go wrong with the 990

I wear them as every day footwear, not as running shoes. I buy them because you are the only ones, so far, that makes sneakers in my size which is 11.5 extra narrow (2A). I do not like your bait and switch advertising, even with your disclaimers. You send out email notices mentioning a great sale but mine have always been excluded from the sale.

My husband LOVES your shoes. For Christmas, I ordered a pair in his normal size. They were delivered on time, no issue! Coming out of the box, he was delighted. Putting them on they were just a wee bit too tight -- the tight that won't stretch out. New Balance's return process was easy to navigate -- although I would have liked the opportunity to simply exchange the shoes in a single transaction. Luckily, the shoe was in stock in the next half size. Joy! Looking forward to receiving the correct size early next week. Thank you!

My family all like the arch support in NB sneakers and we love the fact that NB does offer some styles in AA (narrow) fit. I'm caregiver to my "senior" brother who is in an assisted living facility and he has very narrow feet. NB has his captured audience! The only thing I do not like about NB is the extremely high price, especially since my brother is on a very limited income. In addition, I can never get them on sale for him or at a discount and that bothers me tremendously. I feel NB knows my brother is a captured audience and that's sad. There are very limited styles to choose from as well. I can only get them through online order. Stores never have AA width to try on in-house.

These shoes were purchased for my son who has to stand on his feet all day. This is the third time I have bought them. He loves them and won't wear any other manufactures shoe. They never have to be broken in. The fit is perfect.

I walk about five miles 5 or 6 times a week in these 990s. My last pair lasted about 400-500 miles. They are a great shoe.

I'm a 993 fan and this is my first time trying the 990s in years. Look good and fit as expected. Made in America a bonus.
