These shoes are very comfortable and they allow me to take long walks.

I'm giving 3 stars because I lost 1000 NB points when I placed my order and no one from customer service can tell me why! The point system is a joke ...and no, they weren't expired. Now to the sneakers, I absolutely love the 990v5! Stylish and Comfortable. My entire household has a pair ...gray is your favorite color.

My husband and I both wear this shoe. LOL - yes, it does get a little crowded! :) Seriously, we've been wearing New Balance 990V, or the previous versions, for the past 20 years. My podiatrist recommended another brand at one time, because of an issue I was having with my feet. That brand, in my opinion was far inferior. I went back to my New Balance shoe and have never looked back. This shoe provides excellent balance, foundation, structure, and support, eliminating any fatigue from walking or being on your feet all day. It breathes well and wears well. We love it.

I bought these shoes for my spouse. The size selection was optimal, he wears a 13 wide. New Balance had his size, shipped them out and he received the shoes quickly. He loves them and says they are like no other. He is a big guy and said they truly feel "sturdy" yet are comfortable. Last thing, I don't know if it matters but we purchased the all black ones. Really well made, quality material shoe!

Bought these for my husband, his second pair. He likes the gray color and the shoe fits well. No complaints!

these shoes are great and in fact now have two pair............my wife also has purchased a pair and she loves them also...........

The fit is great for wife feet except not enough arch support for me. I know everyone 's arch is different. The price is high but I decided to spend because it is made in USA so I have high expectation on the quality. I plan to use it on a daily basis and will update on the durability of this shoes later on. So far, the look and fitting is great

So far so good, a solid supportive shoe. I feel more stable and supported in these than my previous shoes. A bit costly but my feet are worth it.

This is probably my 7th of 8th pair of the 900 series running shoes. Right now, most of my running is indoors on a treadmill 3-4 miles at a time. While the fit and comfort of the shoes are great, I'm somewhat concerned about the durability of the soles. Maybe the compound is too soft. After each run, there is a layer of black dust on the floor and the heels of the shoes are already showing wear after less than 15 miles on the treadmill. I'll have to see how long this pair lasts.

I was having ankle pain when walking long distances, so I bought these shoes after extensive research and I am able to walk many miles a day without ankle pain.

Feeling nice a roomy , I put gel incerts in an can wear heavy socks comfortably. But they are a little chilly on windy cool days.

I'm a huge fan of the 990. My favorite being the 990 v2, but the comfort of the v5 is on a different level. I tip my hat to you guys!

No wonder they don't offer discounts on this shoe. I tried for about a week to find a way to get them cheaper - no luck. Finally bit the bullet and this is the best shoe I've ever worn. Worth every penny. Wish it came in better colors.

Great stability and excellent cushioning for feet and knees.

I was ranting and raving about how much I Love the 99X series to my Dad, so he wanted me to get him a pair for Christmas. Needless to say he absolutely loved them. The quality of the made in USA NB's are second to none.

I have been wearing the New Balance 990 since the first version.... They never dissapoint me.

I've been wearing this shoe for over 20 years, and the improvements made yearly are intriguing. I've even gotten my partner to only wear New Balance. I would recommend anyone who stands or walk a lot to invest in a pair, your feet will thank you.

Shoes look very stylish and fit perfectly, probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned.
