I really love these shoes. Super comfortable and shape is also great!

I became addicted to theses shoes. they are so comfy and so easy to style. u can wear the gray ones wit some distressed denim, short and khaki pants. the quality is so good

I use the shoes for walking and everyday. They were comfortable right out of the box. I can slip them on with a she horn so I can keep them tied and even after a long day, my feet are still happy.

length is a little shorter than standard shoe size - need to put in shoe stretchers to get the proper length

Shoes are fine but customer service person (called prior to ordering) did not know his product. And why aren't shoes true to personal shoe size? Seems you could make a product that corresponds to a person's regular size. New Balance shoes are NOT what they use to be. Quality just not there. And this model (990) is made here. All your shoes should be made in this country. Probably why the decline in quality. This is my last pair.

I just recently got back into New Balance. I have previous owned 2 pairs and have been satisfied. These shoes are very comfortable and you can style them with anything. I didn't add any width, I just got the regular pair. Just because of that I ordered a black pair!

Hi, I love New Balance shoes and I've always pushed them to the extreme. Thats why I love them because I could wear them all day through anything and they will always last because they are beautifully and specially made. But this product fell short. The suede is beautiful, the comfort is everything, but the quality has began to deter especially the fitting. For example, the glue that holds down the suede to the sole has stretched and now you can visibly see the glue and where the suede was connecting to the sole. Another issue is the stitching has loosened near the toe box and I will have to shave it down so that it won't get longer. I've had these for about a week and so I am disappointed that they are wearing out this fast.

I am a long time runner. Always wore 990's. At age 71 (72 in a few weeks), I do not run anymore. I am now a senior citizen "Walker" to the tune of 15,000-20,000 steps per day. I STILL PURCHASE AND WEAR 990's. I literally live in them because of their support and cushioning. I highly recommend the New Balance 990's for not only dedicated runners but also for seniors who need the support and cushioning. Thank you New Balance.

I have been using 990's since forever, so long ago I can't remember when. I think I have always worn New Balance shoes. The 990's come from a long, well tested lineage: I consider them serious footgear for those serious about being 'out there' pounding down the trail. I walk athletically 5 miles a day, 35 miles a week with good weather and I haven't had a foot injury in 30 or more years. I'm 75 years old..

Not at all what I was expecting. Literally felt like I was walking on cardboard. I'm a nurse and that requires me to be on my feet for a majority of the day so I need something comfortable which this shoe is not. I've bought this brand for years and I can say this was the first time I've been disappointed with a purchase.

The shoe is great but not lasting... this is the second pair in last ten months.

Width size needs to be more specific . Currently wear a 2E and that is not a specified choice . So I guessed wrong
