NB 993 and 990 series shoes have been my staple for running for a long time -- maybe decades. The fit is always right for me, they control my mild pronation, and I typically get 450 - 500 miles of wear (once got to 550, but that was a stretch). This is my 13th pair in the past 10 years. I always get them a half size larger than my true size, and the medium width fits well.

Most comfortable shoes out of the box and now a lifetime customer because they are made in the USA. Previously purchased shoes that had a checkmark on the side that required a break-in period to be comfortable or they failed because of workmanship and or materials - never again.

Our son is in the Autism Spectrum and he needs a wide, sturdy shoe and the 990 has always been our go to. Thank you.

I searched high and low for a great shoe made here in the USA. I am facing back surgery and need the best. I love this shoe. I can walk and exercise without pain, the 990 is amazing!

I have really wide 11.5 sized feet. It's hard to find shoes that fit and are comfortable. These shoes are amazing! I'm buying another pair!

I just underwent achillies tendon surgery and have a cast on that I am supposed to wear for 8 weeks, ant then a boot goes on for another few weeks, so I really don't know how these new shoes fit. They look great but, that's all I can say.

I have been wearing the 990s for over ten years as i tore a tendon in my foot and was advised to wear the best running shoes so i would not need surgery. i walk 3-4 miles a day and no surgery yet. great shoes.

really love these, unfortunately they are a tad too big. not much of a problem if i wear thick socks tho !! if you have a more narrow/skinny foot like me then i suggest buying (narrow), i now know i should've! but great support, cushion & overall feel from these nb classics !

Classic silhouette that everyone needs in their rotation. You can wear with short/ pants doesn't matter. Comfiest shoe ever made. This shoe can be worn my anyone any age doesn't matte. The 990 has a rich history in sneaker culture

I bought the v.1 of the 990s. It is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I don't think I'll ever buy another shoe of this type for everyday use. The comfort is there. The classic look is there. The full body support is there. All substance, no fluff. You wont regret your purchase.

No other shoe compares! 5th pair and every single pair is the exact same.

It's a nice shoe don't get me wrong. For those with narrow or flat feet the X-Narrow is a joke and the only reason I bought these over the 928V which is a more substantial shoe for about $50.00 less. Be prepared to buy the 10 Second Pressure Relief insoles for an additional $28.00 plus shipping to adjust the width and arch support. New Balance use to sell these and they are fantastic!!! New Balance made a huge mistake kicking them to the curb to market their own substandard substitute.

Size fits well. It's so pretty and I want to buy it again~~!!!
