Bought these for my wife so here and I could go on trail runs together. She hasn't stop thanking me for the shoes because of the excellent comfort and fit. Thanks Salomon customers for life!!!

Super fit...great support. Felt like the shoe was made for my foot!

I hike a few times a week up mountains near where I live. These shoes are good and comfortable with lots of grip for the rocky areas.

I absolutely love this shoe....and would like to get at least another pair in the color shown, and also to be able to choose from more color patterns, when made available. GREAT SHOE!!!

I have had the shoes for two months and they are amazing especially on rough terrain. Besides trail running they are great hiking shoe.

I wear my speedcross for hiking or trail running when it's raining. The traction is like no other & it takes a couple of wears for them to mold around your foot. The heal cushioning takes some getting use to but after about 4 or 5 runs I'm a fan:)

Have always liked this shoe but ran a spring race in Moab in several inches of mud, kept my feet dry and no problem with traction.

I purchased these shoes approximately a month ago. This is my first pair of Speedcross shoes because my feet are a bit wider and the prior versions were slightly narrower. These fit great and are extremely comfortable! The grip is amazing and I absolutely love the black/magenta color. I highly recommend these shoes!

size is little bigger than regular shoes. but the color is so pretty!

I love these shoes all expect the colour, sadly I'm not a fan of black so these were the only colour available, I much preferred the peacock blue of the earlier shoes, bring back the strong colours

Sturdy, stable, robust and able to withstand the hard stuff. I have had these for a number of years - trail running, trail walking and tramping - and they have held up admirably. The only detraction as per another review, is that the colour selection for women currently is a little underwhelming.

Shoe fits well and is well made. Color choice of sole is odd. Black would have been better and the material the sole is made from is too hard. The shoe would have been more comfortable had the material germ softer. The shoe clicks when I walk on hard floors. Otherwise no complaints. Like the upper color scheme, fit, and ease of getting dhoe on and off

I love these Solomon cross 5, but the sizing is a bit too big. I hiked in them 1 time, am I able to exchange them if I bought them from a local store that doesn't have a size below?

I'm using 6th or 7th pair of Speedcross 5, and probably 10th pair of Speedcross series. Obviously I like them a lot to purchase them repeatedly. One thing that could be improved A LOT is the insoles. If you run or hike downhill in wet pair of Speedcross, the heel part of the insole slide forward and wrinkle up under the ball of your feet. Otherwise, they are very comfortable out of the box, and comfortable enough to run 50 mile with a women's course record of 7:28 and had no problem on my feet.

My size is 8 but for some reason size 8 (slim) is big. I tried 7.5 (slim) it was small. Also tried 7.5 (wide) - big. So I decided to keep 8 (slim) with the extra insole. Now it's fit normal. I love this design. I tried only one time hiking in the Niagara Glen Trail so far so good.
